A girl set out on an incredible journey, leaving her enchanted homeland called South Carolina to pursue her dreams in a far away place called Tallahassee. She joined a very special tribe called the seminoles and studied the local culture of politics. A hobby lost from her youth, Linda picked her camera back up in 2004 and rediscovered her love of photography.
On a wing and a prayer, she founded Long's Photography that year and began photographing weddings. She brought her love, laughter and ambition to create beautiful, contemporary wedding images and soon Long's Photography began to grow. As she became a mother, the journey for Long's Photography also changed and her passion for portrait art expanded to include babies and families.

We are always looking to grow and expand our portfolio and our creativity! Model sessions allow Linda to have more artistic control, try new things and be more creative. We ask models preferences in colors, but Linda ultimately makes all the choices in styling the sessions. Models receive a waived session fee and a 15% discount at their originally scheduled order session.
These images are all the creative outlet for Linda's mind. She is constantly pushing her photography and editing to create new and interesting imagery. These images are often entered into photographic competition at the local, state and national level. We are happy to brainstorm ideas with you and come up with a unique experience!
Most professionals who need an image for work- website, business cards, etc. need a headshot session. The session fee includes only a head and shoulders image, but for a small upgrade fee you can do half body or even full length. These are our quickest sessions, since we are photographing a single adult.

I would absolutely recommend Long to all! They spent the afternoon photographing my proposal and did an amazing job! They were sure to capture every important moment of that day. It all went by so fast and can be an absolute blur, so we feel so lucky to have these amazing photos to look back on. Linda and her team are at the top of the family portrait profession in Tallahassee! she works incredibly well with young children on up to adults making her sessions fun and ease going even for those who might be a little camera shy. She is also incredibly good on a pure artistic level and has won numerous local and state competitions and is recognized consistently as one of the top ten photographers in the state of Florida!
