Scott Buschman was born and raised in San Francisco. As a teenager, Scott learned to develop film and print photos in his family darkroom. After graduating from San Francisco State University, he worked as a photojournalist in the Bay Area for 15 years before starting his own portrait and event photography business.
Scott Buschman Photography is who we call and rely on to provide us with all our Chamber photos. He assists us annually with our Board headshots, group photos, and annual business awards event Scott is a pleasure to work with and the South San Francisco Chamber of Commerce recommends his talents to anyone who is looking for a professional.

Scott was amazing to work with! I've worked with him in the past for work events and decided to reach out to him for a maternity shoot. He responded within a couple of hours, made amazing suggestions when it came to the location, color scheme, etc. I am a big fan of canvas prints and although that's not on option he usually offers, he went above and beyond to deliver the final prints in person. I highly recommend his services!!

Scott is truly a professional. He has been doing this for many years. After I met him at a South San Francisco Chamber of Commerce event, he has since taken our family portraits, my professional headshots, and even assisted with photoshopping some special pics for a dear friend's funeral.

Scott did our family photo shoot, and we had a really great experience with him. He suggested a local park, with redwoods that made for a beautiful setting. It also had a playground, for some fun poses that would appeal to our little kids. He was patient and silly with our children, which resulted in a lot of great smiles. He was professional in the field, arranging our positions to get the best lightning and angles. His pricing is also reasonable, and the physical prints we received are high quality. Scott was hired to take professional LinkedIn head-shots for me and he was nothing short of exceptional. Aside from being extremely professional, having a warm personality, and great sense of humor, he is COVID conscious and wears a face mask at all of his assignments. He was prompt, very knowledgeable, has a keen eye for detail and last but not least - he made me feel comfortable (I can be awkward) during the photo session. My office has used Scott Buschman Photography for a couple of years now. He is very prompt, knowledgeable, has a good eye for detail and will follow through quickly. No request is too small or difficult for him. Scott is enjoyable to work with and would recommend him to anyone who would ask for a photographer referral. Scott is great at collaborating with us and our suggestions. He has done our office group shots and head shots and we show them proudly on our website and local advertising.
