The Clinton House has daily specials to include many made-from-scratch delectable entrees. Some of our hometown favorites include our one-of-a-kind slow-cooked Brisket, Italian-style spaghetti with garlic bread, open-faced Roast Beef with homemade mashed potatoes and gravy.just to name a few. On July of 2014, The Clinton House opened as a pub, eatery and event venue.

First we're here during off season weekday in Port Clinton. The bar was well spaced out, no staff wearing masks.Their staff were congenial and efficient.
The food was okay bar food, the basics, Burger and fries were good. Mussels were frozen nothing special. They have $4 house wines, a decent beer selection but no beers on tap?

Visiting from Columbus for the day and found this to be a lovely stop for a late lunch. We were there at an off-peak time so only a few other parties and it was easy to keep distance. It was quiet and the service was excellent. The food was good and affordable. I especially appreciated the normal-sized portions that didn’t leave me with half a plate of wasted food like some restaurants do. I ate my whole burger and all but five of my fries!

We loved their lobster bisque! It is not a too thick cream/ gravy consistency, not it it too salty like some chain restaurants. It was just right with generous chunks of lobster meat and it hit the spot!
We didn't love their side bun bc it was too sweet and didn't go well with the bisque in our opinion, but can't complain bc it was a freebie!

Went into this place with a Arab American female friend and ended up with one of the worst experiences in my life. The place is nice with exposed brick and nice hardwood floors.1st we got no service at all and then when we did we got two warm beers. They had nothing on the menu but had the bologna sandwiches. The band playing sounded awful and we got tons of stares. We left and ended up at a Irish Pub across the street where we got better service.Stay away from this place in my opinion

The mushroom appetizer had three mushrooms on the plate. They were okay but not worth $8. The Cuban sandwich was very small as well and not what I would call a Cuban sandwich. More like a ham and cheese grilled sandwich. I had heard good things about this place so I was disappointed. Maybe it was an off night.

Stopped by during our short trip to Port Clinton. I'm vegetarian and there was not much I could order here besides sides. I ended up going with a side salad with their homemade dressing which was delicious! It took a long time but they appeared understaffed. The waiter was extremely nice and really seemed to be trying so hard to keep up with everything throughout the restaurant so we didn't mind the wait. This positive rating is definitely for the service of our waiter & for them having AWESOME live music!

Had lunch here. The environment is great for some beers with friends, a great dinner, business lunch, or a date night. The service was exceptional. I had the scallops to start off and were buttery and tender. Main course was a pork sandwich. Pork was moist and tender with a nice bbq sauce and great coleslaw and fries as well.

My wife and I enjoyed prime rib, great music, and good company on New Year's Eve at the Clinton House. They were very busy but it did not effect the food or the service. Nate was our server and did an excellent job taking care of us. We moved to Port Clinton last August and have frequented the Clinton House a couple times prior to last night. We have always had great experiences here and will continue to visit on a regular basis.

Cool hangout, good music and drink selection. It was New Year's Eve so they were packed but we still got our drinks, not fast but we were fine with it. It's a comfortable space. The only drawback was some idiot would yell "close the door" every two minutes. Dude, it's a public place and it 4 degrees out. Relax.

Cute place in historic building on the downtown strip. I am sure this place is hopping during the summer and boating seasons. We visited for lunch on a Sunday. The place was almost a ghost town. We were the only customers. The place is drafty but interesting. The bartender was our server. The bar seems sparse. Large TVs with sports are observable from most seats in the house.
Menu looked interesting, but the food fell a little short. Potatoes pancakes were okay but not much flavor. They cooked my chicken wings well but no flavor. The sauce was on the side and just ok. My hub's hot ham and

If you dig features of old architecture from the days of tin ceilings, stained glass details and wooden plank floors, this is worth a go. It has a cozy, down to earth vibe with an amazing wooden wrap around bar. We were promptly greeted by our spunky server and ordered some margaritas, which were really nicely made. I ordered the perch sandwich with extra lettuce, tomato and smoked gouda. It came with hand cut herbed fries. Yum! My hubby ordered the Cuban sandwich with hand cut herbed fries. Another yum! They were reasonably priced and had a decent selection of offerings on their menu. I will absolutely

This place SLAMS. We stopped here for dinner one night because my husband saw on the specials board that they offered lobster Mac and cheese as a Saturday special. There was a band playing, plenty of space and tables even though it was pretty crowded. Our server was very nice and attentive and even though we sat ourselves he was quick to notice us and get menus. I had the perch dinner and it was delicious! My husband got the lobster Mac and cheese special and it was honestly amazing and enough food for like 3 people. If we are in the area again I'd definitely return! So good.
