In 1996 David Simms formed Eatible Delights Catering. While building Eatible Delights, David worked for The Olive Garden, Restaurant Associates and La Terrase restaurant, where he received formal training under Chef David Greer. He attended and graduated from OIC Philadelphia where he received hospitality and culinary training.
Additionally he formed David's Place Restaurant, secured the backstage catering for the Robin Hood Dell East and provided catering at its concession stand; he also operated a concession stand at Citizens Bank Ball Park. After he formed Eatible Delights Catering, he was selected to participate in the 1996 All Star game which was his first large scale (750 people) catering and event coordinating project where he worked with Aretha Franklin.

We ordered the Classic Thanksgiving meal for 8-10 people to save time and energy this past holiday. It was absolutely delicious and all of the gusts enjoyed it! There were plenty of leftovers of the wonderful turkey, ribs, and several sides. Everything was packaged securely and came with utensils, plates, and even some chocolate covered pretzels. This is my second time using Eatible Delights for catering and I highly recommend their services.

This was my very first Thanksgiving Dinner not cooking for my family ever… However, everyone (myself included) enjoyed our delicious dinner from Eatible Delights! The macaroni and cheese kept our lips smacking while the cabbage and potato salad competed for our attention except the falling off the bone Turkey wings won every time! The presentation was spectacular and delivery seamless! Thank you to everyone on the team for making sure we were extra grateful this holiday season!

Where should I begin. Placed an order for about $135.00. Ordered after 6, had to pick up my order and it easnt ready until almost 8pm. I ordered lamb which was soggy, the mac & cheese was burned and taste like spoiled cheese was used. The yams were also burned, the greens and string beans had absolutely no flavor. I will support anyone once. I will never purchase anything from this business again. Huge disappointment. Word to the wise, you have to keep the same quality as when you first opened.

Eatible Delights Catering put together a last minute Xmas Luncheon for my job. They were so very easy to work with and so very flexible to fit my needs. The food was absolutely delicious. There was absolutely nothing left at the end of the day. I will definitely be utilizing their services again. Thank you so very much Catina and Mr. Sims.

I selected Eatible Delights for our family reunion picnic for 50 guests this past weekend. I had to write about HOW FABULOUS AND DELICIOUS our picnic food was, and the superior service Brian provided!
I researched about 8 different caterers for the event who had picnic menus. ED by far had the best menu selection for the price range we selected and it included our famous Philly water ice. Most caterers offered only 2 meats and 2 sides for the picnic menu. ED gave us 4 different types of meats and 4 sides, with various beverages.
The food was slamming! We had cold salads and hot foods. EVERYTHING
