For the past 20 years, Jeff Hufford contributed financial and accounting knowledge to help organizations large and small make better financial decisions. Before starting his own CPA firm in 2006, he was the director of accounting at Holt, Rinehart and Winston (HRW).

While at HRW - one of the top four textbook publishers for grades 6-12 in the U.S. - Jeff managed accounting and cash flow, oversaw budgeting and financial analysis, evaluated partnership and acquisition agreements, and developed controls for Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.Prior to HRW, Jeff worked as a business manager for Cox Interative Media where he performed similar work for multiple business units.

Assisting with accounting classifications such as dividing expenses between program, fundraising, and general and administrative classifications as needed for year-end 990 preparation.
