Dr. Ragan is a great orthodontist, and an even better person. He is technically excellent, and he and his office staff are friendly, attentive and exceptionally responsive. We have had the best experience ever with Dr. Ragan and his staff! My 8-yr old daughter was one of the first in her grade at school to get an expander and now braces, and she was very anxious.

Before beginning any treatment, Dr. Ragan conducts an initial consultation to learn more about your bite, gums and teeth alignment.
Early treatment (also known as phase one) typically begins around age eight or nine (phase two will begin around age 11 or older). The goal of early treatment is to correct the growth of the jaw and certain bite problems, such as underbite. Early treatment also helps to make room for permanent teeth to come in properly, lessening the chance of extractions in the future.

I had an appointment for a consultation with Dr. Ragan to see about shifting some teeth forward. Even as just a consultation they made me feel so welcomed and cared about. Christy was my assistant and her energy alone was so calming. Even after deciding braces were probably not the right choice for me Dr. Ragan took the time to discuss other options and advice with me. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Ragan is top notch as always. We love their staff and especially Dr. Ragan. But the dental associate who handled our daughter and spent almost 45 minutes inside her mouth did not ever wear her mask over her nose. My daughter could feel her breathing directly into her mouth. For a long time. It was very surprising for a practice who prides themselves on such Covid aware behaviors. We were very disappointed. It is widely known that covering your nose is vital to not spreading this disease.

From my very first visit in February 2019, to my final visit today, Dr. Ragan and his team have been the absolute best! They are professional, fun, courteous, flexible, and all around just great people. I never once felt uncomfortable. From the front desk to everyone that works in the back, they are all super personable and thoroughly competent. Any time I had a question or concern regarding my treatment, they provided prompt and dependable feedback and service. They made things easy to understand and never left me leaving the office confused or out of the loop. I loved every visit I had with them

My 11 yr old daughter had a wonderful experience getting her braces on. She was pleasantly surprised when it only took 10 minutes to put all the metal braces on here teeth, after being so anxious about what it would be like. Dr. Ragan and his staff were so nice and his practice is so technologically advanced it made it an easy, pain free experience!

The braces came off today. I wasn't the easiest case as a 32 (when I started) year old with severe over crowding, and "man sensitivity": a pain threshold lower than the young girl sitting one chair over. The fact is, he's going to put some hurt in your mouth. The good news is, if you hang in there and take some acetaminophen before you go in for your appointment it won't be as bad.
Pro tip: If you hear him say "Rocky Mountain chain", double your pain reliever.

I just completed my 18-month orthodontic treatment with Dr. Ragan and could not be more satisfied. Not only do my teeth look excellent (straighter than I've ever seen them!), the staff has always been so kind and responsive. As an adult patient, I was a bit nervous, but was relieved to see other patients just like me. I've even called for a couple of 'emergency' appointments and they've always fit me into the schedule ASAP. I would definitely recommend to any child or adult seeking orthodontic treatment.
