Services
Orthodontic treatment aligns crooked teeth into the position in which they were designed to function. With correct function comes improved esthetics. Smiles were designed to be beautiful. All of us at Ellis Orthodontics consider it a priviledge to serve our patients. Our goal is to ensure that our patients leave each visit feeling both confident in their orthodontic treatment and enriched by their time spent with us.
Dr. Ellis is a dedicated orthodontist with over 25 years of experience. She practices exclusively at Ellis Orthodontics in the Lakewood neighborhood of Dallas. Her career highlights include helping children and adults of all ages receive excellent quality orthodontic care in private practice, on the craniofacial team at Children's Medical Center, and on the faculty of University of Texas Southwestern Medical School.
Living life always with an eye always turned to look for risk (known, unknown and unknowable) can sap the spontaneous joy out of otherwise joyful events. How valuable, though, is the friend who can not only empathize, but help us to see that our perspective has been thrown out of whack by focusing only on our problems.
Orthodontic problems don't improve with time. In fact, it's often better to treat many orthodontic problems during the teen years, rather than wait until adulthood. Once growth is complete, the bones of the face and jaw are fully developed. As a result, some orthodontic conditions become far more challenging to correct.
There is no such thing as being too old for braces. Dr. Ellis has provided care for many adults, including seniors, seeking a healthier smile. Healthy teeth can be moved at any age. Self ligating (Damon) Metal Braces - Dr. Ellis uses the industry leading Damon self ligating brackets by Ormco to achieve efficient, safe and comfortable orthodontic movement.

After two unsuccessful and costly ortho treatments to fix a challenging rotating upper tooth at a prestigious Dallas practice, I was referred To Dr Ellis by a friend whose kids are also patients. Dr Ellis has since fixed this rotating tooth with a braces treatment that was both effective and, reasonably priced.
In addition, I had a separate Invisalign treatment on my bottom teeth that was also excellent.
I am happy with my smile again and, I do highly recommend Dr Ellis.

Dr. Ellis is WONDERFUL! Her staff is great as well and always understanding of school, sports, and other activities when scheduling my son's appointments. Dr. Ellis was incredibly patient with my son who was not the easiest patient. I am so grateful for all of the time she gave to us at each visit to answer questions and update us with his progress. I was very impressed with the expertise of Dr. Ellis and will highly recommend her to friends and family. I'm encouraging my husband to see her about having his lower teeth straightened. He didn't wear his retainers- hopefully, a good lesson for our

In my opinion Grandmothers should have wonderful smiles. So with the advent of my grandchildren I consulted with Dr. Ellis about the benefits of orthodontic intervention to improve the cosmesis of my smile. She developed a plan of care that meshed her professonal expertise with my personal goals and active lifestyle. Her staff is friendly, patient centered, and extremely adept at their professional responsibilities. No matter what your age - we are lucky to have Ellis Orthodontics in our neighborhood.

Our daughter, Lauren, is very happy with her results. Dr. Ellis is a very caring and attentive Orthodontist and keeps parents well informed. Lauren never pushed back on appointments and the procedures necessary to get the desired results. In my many times in the waiting room I noticed that all of the young patients coming and going were happy as were parents. That's a tribute to Dr. Ellis' office and staff. Thank you, Dr. Ellis, good job!

I'm so happy one of my friends recommended me to Dr Ellis. I've only been seeing her for 4 months and my transformation has been amazing! Before coming to Dr Ellis, I saw 3 orthodontist. All 3 said I would need jaw surgery and removal of 2-4 teeth. She is the first one to think outside of the box and suggest new methods. I'm so glad I went with her and invested in myself after all of these years. Just mad that I didn't know about her 10 years ago! Also, Brooks is amazing!!!! I'll definitely post before and afters after my treatment is done.

So impressed with Ellis Orthodontics! Dr. Ellis saw both of my boys for FREE evaluations recently. She was so pleasant and comfortable - no pressure at all. She even told me neither of them needed any treatment at this time. She is truly refreshing among so many other providers out there that are trying to scam you or get you in treatment to get your money. Her decades of experience treating all ages including special needs populations makes me trust and admire her even more. The office is modern and very clean. My boys and I had a very positive experience.
