IAAT started as Central Texas Agents Alliance with a network of agents in the Austin area in 2002. Rodney Watkins is President and Shareholder of the Alliance. IAAT is a part of SIAA, the nation's largest partnering Independent Insurance Agency Alliance. The concept of the SIAA alliance began in 1983 with the creation of the first Master Agency - Satellite Agency Network Group (SAN Group) by Jim Masiello, owner of the Masiello Agency in Keen, NH.
