Great Wall used to have very good fresh food, excellent value and customer service. Over the past five years the food is inconsistent in freshness and preparation. The prices, like most other things today are significantly higher and their online menu didn't match their in-person prices. In fact, their online orders were cheaper but when I called the order in there was a difference of a few dollars. When I bought this to the management's attention, they would not honor the lower price posted but were more interested on correcting the online price. Not very good customer oriented service. Last night was my first time ordering here and it definitely won’t be my last! It’s hard to find good Chinese food so much so that I’d been going to the same place in Fairfax Virginia for years! Until I moved this way. The Great Wall was exceptional! I really was surprised and so happy I gave this place a try! We ordered chicken and broccoli, spring rolls and General Tao’s tofu! The tofu is sometimes done wrong with a thick breaded coating but not here! It’s fried just as it’s supposed to be and the broccoli all still had a nice light crunch! Not mushy like other Chinese places. Food

Used to be a lot better. Depending on whose at the register they might get your order right, and the food quality has declined.
I recommend Yatai on bakerton.

Food was ok would have been better if we had soy sauce forks and napkins, $9.38 tip for the driver to leave the food in the lobby without calling and $44.00 for food without anything to go with it

I visited this establishment today because it was recommended by a friend. I was a little sceptical at first, but once I tasted it, I could not stop eating it. Simply amazing and authentic, I will definitely recommend the Great Wall Charles Town and I most certainly will return again!!

I ordered the Shrimp Lo Mein which was suppose to come with white rice and crispy noodles I didn’t get either of them and had made it home before I realized it. The vegetable spring rolls were good but would not recommend Shrimp Lo Mein.

Sesame chicken had raw pieces in it and a piece of pork mixed in. Called the restaurant and she argued about how they cook it fully etc. Wasn't looking for money back since I live too far, was just letting them know so they could be more mindful. In the end the owner said she could offer a 10% discount next time - poor way to compensate after giving someone inedible food but never going back anyway.

I don’t know the Mongolia their from but it’s not the same one I know!! Second time I got a bunch of onions and I have no idea what this brown gravy is....this is suppose to be Mongolian beef btw. worst food ever

Order two sesame chicken. Was so dry and over cooked I couldn't even stab a metal fork into it . I opened a piece of chicken " use that term lightly" it wasn't anything but over fryed strings. When I called I could hear the lady trying to blame that we waited 2 hours to eat when I can eat next day Chinese food from anywhere else . Instead of taking blame she acted like it was my fault . I will never eat here again .
