West End Wine Bar & Pub

Staff was very pleasant and attentive. The restaurant was very cozy with great views of the golf course. A great menu with a variety of options. Many unique dished using locally sourced ingredients.

The ambiance and service are 5 star. Amazing place and the room we were in really made the experience extra special. The starters (Pork belly tostada and calimari) were delicious. My one disappointment was my sides of Mac cheese and mushrooms were bland. Everyone else's food was delicious but I was disappointed with my sides. Overall a great place to visit.

Great service, ambiance and very good food. Great place for date family or just to relax and enjoy a truly pleasant experience. The scallops, mussels and salads were very yummy.

West End is always a solid experience. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. About the menu, it's a tight and small menu, however, what they make is executed at a high level. One of my favorites on the menu is typically the Steak Frites.
I've been coming to West End with my family for a long time. We expect to continue coming for the foreseeable future.

The food was beyond the standards of Gourmet Food. The Long Pork Chops with Bacon Jam on top was a perfect combination. It was cooked to perfection. So if you don't know how pork is suppose to be cooked, don't get it. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. 20 OUT OF 20.. I would go back just for a side of the local Mushrooms... If you're looking for a quiet, beautiful setting with kind people taking care of you. This is definitely the place to be. Thank you West End. We had a Beautiful evening ♥️

After a really bad experience at More Better Restaurant & Beer Garden, I checked to see any other place we could eat dinner. We found West End and decided to give it a try. The upstairs was full and reservations were a must. However, we were told we could go to the pub (around the side and in the basement) and order the same food/drinks there. We headed that way and were warmly greeted by Sean (I think that was his name). The service was great, the food was great, and the atmosphere was really cool. This is a place we will come back to in the future.

Food is good. Building is adorable. Servers are friendly. Please remember to ask them if there are any specials, because they won't always tell you about them.

After my food tonight was served, I heard a server telling a neighboring table about their prime rib special. Wish I would have been told about it, because I quite enjoy prime rib.

More interestingly, I asked the server, Tamryn, why she hadn't told us about the specials. She said she figured we knew what we wanted - despite us needing extra time to decide when she first asked for our orders. A bit disappointing.

We went for our anniversary. Excellent food and service. I got the prime rib which was on special. Very tender and amazing. My wife got the scallops. Everything was cooked to perfection. Service was excellent. Will definitely go back again.

Visiting from out of town, needed a place on the fly for dinner, and came across this great place. We made a reservation online, and even though we were a little early, we were seated right away. The manager on duty (Jim I believe?) was awesome! He took drink orders, made recommendations, and throughout the evening we noticed he was hustling by working the front door and greeting guests, running food from the kitchen, and checking in on customers.

Our server, Dominick, was also great! Courteous and polite, he checked in on us appropriately and sought feedback on our orders.

My husband and I organized a surprise 80th birthday dinner for a close family member. We worked with Jim McGavin in planning the event and the party could not have gone better. Jim, along with Seth and Lachland (apologies if I have misspelled his name), went well above and beyond to make this event memorable. We are so very grateful.

West End is our go-to place for date night and although the food is great, it is the people who work there who make it home.

Easily one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The food is great and the staff is wonderful. They continue to improve the menu and wine list every time we go. The back patio is lovely when the weather is nice.

Good service but a bit too $$$ for the quality of what is being served. I got a flat draft beer for $9. No paper napkins so I can hold the wings while I eat.

This was a nice little spot for food! My husband got the kale salad with duck egg and I got the tomato bisque soup with other sides. My waitress was very attentive to the fact that I stated on our reservation that I am gluten-free. A really nice place to stop with a beautiful front porch, perfect for sipping a glass of wine if you have the time.

We finally got a reservation to this great little bar & pub 19 May 2021. Our waitress Leslie was helpful with the wine menu and answered every question we had. We ordered the green tomatoes after I ordered the Scallops Risotto, while my wife and Steve's Wife "Cat," both ordered Blacken Chicken! Steve ordered the Pork Chop with a semi glaze gravy and corn bread.
For dessert the ladies ordered the Cream Brûlée and Cat received a Raspberry ice cream with a wonderful green minty sauce. Very different ! . I've literally had or ordered Risotto in all parts of the world

Incredible service and awesome view outdoors overlooking golf coarse. Drinks were delish and birds were our music while we dined. Highly recommend!!

West End is a solid restaurant overall no doubt. Normally they're a 4.5 - 5 star every time. Not tonight though...the Friday night prime rib was average at best...and why no baked potato offered or mashed potato? Fries seem like a bit of a lazy option...

I don't have enough good things to say about this place. I've been coming here for years. Always great service and excellent food. Things are a little different with covid now but I still love coming here. Gives off a very home-y feel which I love. Perfect for a date night or a business meeting. One of my top three favorite places to eat in Purcellville.

The building is a quaint old home that has been wonderfully transformed into a great little restaurant. The service was pleasant, friendly, without being overbearing. We had the traditional breakfast and chicken and waffles. The eggs were perfect, the bacon crisp, the sourdough toast had just enough butter and the potato wedges were very well done. The waffles were sweet and fluffy, the chicken, lightly battered and tastefully offset with the maple sicracha syrup. The greens on the side were an unexpected side dish, that provided a great complimentary flavor to a very satisfying brunch.

We've been to Purcellville MANY MANY times over the years, but never heard of this place... So, on a Saturday, when we were planning on being back in Purcellville for the day, we decided to look for a different place to enjoy a nice dinner and noticed that this place came VERY HIGLY suggested on social media, so we quickly made reservations for dinner.
The restaurant is an old house (which I really enjoy) which has been renovated into a very nice restaurant, with ample parking and the ability to have plenty of guests. Upon entering, we were quickly greeted and seated and then greeted by

Where to start... This quiet little place is such a gem! My Wife and I went for what was planned to just be some wine and apps. After looking over the wine list we settled on a very nice red and then we were told that they were doing a very generous discount on that particular wine; SCORE! (I won't tell you which red but it was a great deal for this particular vineyard / bottle).

We sipped and moved to apps starting with the (local) deviled eggs and followed with (local) dry rub wings. Both were amazing. The atmosphere is along the lines of fine dining with a casual flare so it fits

Nice place to go on date night. Solid menu and I've always enjoyed meals that I have had there. I especially enjoy sitting outside to dine and they have two areas for that - the front porch and the back patio.

What a nice hidden gem that backs up to a golf course. Food was excellent, service was excellent and atmosphere lovely. Bonus points for their alcohol selection too!

They met my covid expectations with cleanliness, staff wearing masks and tables indoor and outdoors, distanced.

We came for brunch:
*chef's cheese selection- great to share, it was perfect! The bread was so light and fresh, the accompaniments (mustard, pickled onions, dates) actually brought it up a notch.
*ice cream battered French toast... delicious but filling. Share it so you can try other options on the menu too.

West End is a really cute place.. downstairs is a cozy pub with tables, comfy chairs and sofas and live music some evenings. Upstairs is an upscale restaurant, also with a nice bar. They have a large patio overlooking a golf course and when its warm, the live music is there on the patio.
They serve a wide variety of comfort foods.. with a frequently changing menu, brunch, lunch and dinner. My husband is a big fan of their food, its less my style tho i enjoy the setting, environment & music.
