I have to say that the best dentist in the world is at this beautiful and amazing Dental's group her name is Dr Anisa and the dental assistant Ariel! Also the beautiful lady at the front desk, I don't remember her name however, she was overly and amazingly helpful to me and my wife. She took the burden off my wife helping me from and back to our car.

The office was very nice and friendly. They made me feel comfortable. Dr. Alan Wu was amazing! I don't like going and he made me feel comfortable and explained my care plan options with me in detail. He was graduated from New York University with a DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree.
Services
With highly skilled and friendly dentists, associates, and staff, Lakewood Family Dental will take care of your family like our own. Our teams at each of our five locations, from Bloomington, Illinois to Fort Wayne, Indiana, offer comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. We are well equipped and proud to give your whole family healthy, beautiful smiles.
It brings you the latest dental treatment information on the small screen right in your dentist's office. It allows you to watch a video on a TV or computer monitor to learn about your proposed treatment. All you need to do is sit back, relax, watch and learn. All kinds of dental treatments will be covered, such as dental bridge, dental crown, and dentures along with services provided by a pediatric dentist, orthodontist, and cosmetic dentist.
Dental exams help protect your oral health and general well-being. It gives your dentist a chance to provide tips on caring for your teeth, detect any problems early and be aware on when to get treated. When you sit down in the dentist's chair for your exam, your dentist's goal will be to check the overall status of your dental health and hygiene.
Digital X-rays help dentists diagnose common problems, such as cavities, gum disease and some types of infections. In our office, we use digital radiography. This allows us to take X-rays using 50-70% less radiation than conventional X-rays. When combined with computer monitoring, digital X-ray technology allows us to enhance images for a clearer diagnosis.
Using these small, video cameras, your dentist can gain a detailed therapeutic outside picture of your teeth and gums. It helps diagnose conditions such as tooth decay and cracked teeth. This process can also be useful in the tooth restoration process. Since the intraoral camera is used in tandem with a computer screen or television monitor, our dentist can easily show you, in real-time, if you have a fractured tooth need gum disease treatment.

Hated that I waited awhile for someone to get to the desk. But once she got there she was very quick. Brenda and Doctor Aura were awesome!

Went and got a filling and now I can’t close my mouth properly because of it. The dentists just try to get you done as quick as they can and get you out while not caring if everything was done right.

I had THE BEST experience of my entire life with a dentist at Lakewood Family Dental in Fort Wayne, Indiana today because of Doctor Joshua (I never caught his last name!) He just transferred from Illinois and WOW!!! He knew I was extremely nervous and was comedic but very professional. He was VERY thorough and talked me through everything. He explained why he was doing what he was doing as he was doing it and NEVER once was I in any pain. He made me feel like I was his only patient but I knew he was extremely busy. I will always ask for this wonderful doctor! I am so glad he transferred to this

DO NOT GO HERE! I went to this dentist two times to have my teeth examined and on both occasions I was told my teeth had no cavities and were healthy. Flash forward a few weeks and another dentist discovers that I have infections in four different teeth. Due to Lakewood Family Dentals negligence I now have to get 3 root canals. If the dentists would have thoroughly inspected my teeth I could have avoided all of the pain and suffering I've been faced with. If you value the health of your teeth, I highly recommend you avoid this establishment.

My first appointment was general cleaning. I waited over 45 minutes for them to call me back. Is it normal for the hygienist to skip "teeth scraping" before using the power tool to clean your teeth? That was extremely odd. When the head dental hygienist came to see me, he saw the x rays. Then he looked in my mouth and said my upper wisdom teeth gums healed well. I said I never had surgery on my upper teeth. Then he was shocked and said "oh you haven't removed them yet". No, I don't have any upper wisdom teeth - to which he got really confused and had to check the x rays. I only had bottom and no

Worst dentist experience I have ever had. Waited 20 minutes past when my appointment was before they even saw me. No one there acted like they knew what they were doing, and all I was there for was a cleaning. They were so rough, and the cleaning just consisted of running this like power grinder over my teeth and they really didn't even spend that much time on me (thankfully). Every other dentist I have been to uses different picks to really get your teeth clean and even flosses for you. Not them. And even with that, I have never had any pain after a dentist appointment, but after leaving them

I was in on Saturday for what I thought was a tooth bothering me. I had Dr Josh. He did xrays and tapped on my teeth and found nothing wrong. He believes it is a sensitivity issue. He changed my toothpaste and cleaned my teeth and I was good to go. So glad it wasnt anything more. I have not felt comfortable with a dentist since I had Dr Alan and then he left. So glad I an depend on Dr Josh to take care of my teeth now and I feel comfortable again with my dentist. He even has a good sense of humor and jokes around with you.
