The hotel’s nice but the sleep quality was terrify during my stay.
I was very exited after booking this weekend getaway stay with Hotel Healdsburg. However, between the battery-draining smoke detector that beeped every 5-10 minutes, which kept me up until the wee hours and their gardener started blowing leaves at 8 AM I barely slept. I was more tired after this supposedly relaxing weekend getaway.

Hotel is exceptional at being environmentally conscious! Rooms are nice too. The issue is that the street facing room that I was in had a very high level of street noise—starting at around 5am—which will wake you up, including street cleaners, garbage trucks, buses and cars. The front desk person, Michael, said other guests had notified him of this issue before. So they know about this issue but do not resolve it (for example by providing ear plugs). Thus, we paid full price for half a nights sleep, which is not ideal.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the service here was impeccable!!! Truly authentic, helpful staff who have obviously been trained by the best in the business. Rooms are spacious, clean and beautiful! The complimentary, made to order breakfast was delicious! Can’t say enough about our experience! Highly recommend and look forward to returning. Thank you for completely exceeding our expectations!!!

This is a boutique hotel that must have been re-modeled in the last few years. There are elements of this hotel that have a modern, fresh facade (especially the interior and decor), while other areas that show wear. Overall however, from a pure weekend getaway hotel perspective, the place was closer to being great.
Where they lose a star for me was staff friendliness and professionalism. We stayed at the Plaza Suite, which I believe is their most expensive suite, yet the degree of service provided by the valet, concierge, etc was sub-par at best - almost like checking into a barely 3-star hotel
