Services
Interested in volunteering for one of our physical therapy centers? Our volunteer program is a great opportunity for those wanting a career in physical therapy to experience the hands on environment of our physical therapy clinics and to work directly with the clinical staff and patients.

The volunteers will be limited to specific tasks and responsibilities in each office but will work side by side with physical therapists and physical therapist assistants.
Direct access means the removal of the physician referral mandated by state law to access physical therapists' services for evaluation and treatment. Every state, the District of Columbia, and the US Virgin Islands allow for evaluation and some form of treatment without physician referral.

However, many of those states continue to impose arbitrary restrictions on direct access, or only allow for treatment without referral under very limited circumstances.Be sure to check this summary of the various state direct access laws (.pdf). These restrictions cause delays in the provision of physical therapists' services to individuals who would benefit from treatment by a physical therapist.
Based on your insurance regulations, Virtual Visits are a way for you to communicate remotely in real-time using chat function, video conferencing, or phone calls with your Oxford Clinicians. E- Visits are reserved for Medicare and insurance companies following Medicare regulations. Telehealth Visits are designed to replace an in-person visit and are your more traditional PT visit, just performed remotely instead of in-person.
Please browse through our list of participating providers. We have also provided you with an insurance information checklist which includes a list of questions you should ask your insurance provider to help you, as well as our office, understand exactly what is covered during your physical therapy treatment.

Reid was awesome! Very friendly and explained all the exercises in great detail. I had my very first cupping experience and loved it. Cupping worked wonders for my lower back pain.

I can't thank the staff enough for helping me get through my shoulder issues and working with my wild schedule (you're wonderful Nicole!). John, Joe, Kelsey, and Crystal - thank you so much! John, my main therapist, helped me over the course of many visits to regain my range of motion, my strength, and my endurance - all when I wasn't sure if my shoulder would ever be the same. Joe, Kelsey, and Crystal were fabulous fill-ins when needed. They all were on the same page about what exactly I needed. I was always asked how I was feeling and what my struggles of the week were - and then they made sure

I went to Oxford Physical Therapy's Oakland Location within LA Fitness. I was greeted by Kelsey right away, she helped me fill out paperwork and we got the appointment going. Right away, Kelsey pinpointed my pain issues and got to work. Kelsey was awesome she talked to me the whole time explaining everything and even gave me some fantastic restaurant recommendations. She followed up after my appointment and was responsive to my questions.

It’s my first time going through Physical Therapy and I couldn’t be more pleased with my care and progress. Their approach is about managing/delivering pt in such a way that it meets current physical needs but manages strength conditioning to assist you in the future. Joe is amazing!

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Kelsey did an amazing job. Very knowledgeable and listened to what my issues were and tried different methods to see what worked best for me. I will continue to go to Kelsey and recommend her to others.

The customer service at Oxford in Oakley is outstanding. I had a knee issue and the therapist, Kelsey, helped me so much. Not only was she entertaining, her knowledge was extremely helpful and I walked out of there feeling 100% better. She knew exactly what was wrong, worked on my knee, and gave me exercises to do. I highly recommend anyone with any physical issues to go to to Oxford!
