Dr. Zak grew up in Pocahontas, Iowa. He received his undergrad degree in Kinesiology and Health from Iowa State University, and his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University in the Twin Cities. Growing up involved in athletics, Dr. Zak originally sought out chiropractic care to help him through his high school sports injuries, finding his chiropractor was the most helpful in getting him back out onto the field.

Chiropractic is a natural form of healthcare which seeks out and aims to correct the cause of the issue, rather than addressing just the symptoms themselves. It is known as being a successful way to address common issues like lower back pain and headaches. Though it has proven to be effective at improving these conditions, this is not the only positive outcome that may result upon undergoing chiropractic care.

You will be asked to bring in your insurance card (if planning on using insurance). Upon your arrival you will have some brief paper work to fill out so the doctor is able to gather important information that will allow them to best serve your individual needs. For existing patients returning for a regular office visit, you may expect to be in the office for about 15-30 minutes.
