While in college Dr. Carmicheal studied biology and chemistry with a goal of a career in health care. But he worked in a hospital one summer and didn't agree with what he saw. Dr. Carmicheal continued he education in graduate school at Kansas State University. While practicing in his church's choir, Dr. Carmicheal met a chiropractor.

I have been going to see doc for many years. I first showed up to his office in really bad shape. Hips, back, neck, all twisted and out of alignment and weekly/biweekly migraines for years. I left that day a few inches taller and and no migraine. And now I only get a couple migraines a year if that.
Doc has put me back together more times than I can count. I forget I'm not as young as I use to be sometimes.
It's always a wonderful atmosphere there, and he always takes time to listen to what's going on with you.

I’ve been going to Dr. Carmichael for close to 20 years. Not continuously as it began with an injury that he helped take care of.
I’ve since had another injury and being, uh, older I go in regularly. This keeps the pain from flaring back up, which it does if I wait too long between treatments.
At one point I did see another chiropractor due to location but returned to seeing Doc as he’s the only one who’s been able to help my pain consistently.
Now, I wouldn’t see anyone else! He and Sandy are professional, helpful and friendly.
