Used ProSand Flooring at The Ball & Biscuit on Mass Ave to refinish the reclaimed hardwood floors in our lounge area. The crew was punctual, professional and polite. They repaired some very worn areas and sanded and refinished the whole floor. Looks great! Carl was great to work with and pricing was extremely competitive!

My 1948 house has never had its floors refinished and boy did it need it. I received a recommendation to call Carl at ProSand Flooring from 2 of my neighbors. Due to an ongoing renovation project, I needed a company that would work with me breaking the project up over several weeks.
Tony and Jose completed the living room, dining room and hallways first. Several weeks later Noberto completed my 2 bedrooms. They where all professional and extremely helpful. My floors look fantastic. I really wish I had completed this project years ago. I absolutely love the end results.

We returned to ProSand a few days ago to check out pricing for some tile for our guest bathroom. We bought tiling (floor and backsplash) for our kitchen from ProSand about a year ago and really liked their service and the pricing. We haven't made up our minds on the tiling, but we did find a beautiful Karastan rug for our parlor! We really enjoy working with this business - their prices are competitive, the installation crews are professional, and Carl has an eye for detail. We highly recommend ProSand.

We had some damaged flooring in our 100 year old home that needed repaired and refinished last month. Carl and I were able to get a time scheduled where he came out, measured and we agreed to move forward.
So glad we did- my wife and I are very happy with how they turned out! They did the entire upstairs which included the bedrooms, closets and hall. They even touched up the top of the newel post at the top of the stairs. It was worn like the floors and now looks great (pic)! We didn't have them refinish the stairs and you can see how well the floors turned out (pics). We went with the satin

The ProSanding duo that came and completed the work in our home were awesome. They took time to explain things to us, asked our opinions, and showed us samples of how things would look upon completion. Carl came to give us a quote and view the area we wanted refinished. He was professional, honest, and he followed through on the timetable he provided. No issues at all. We love our floors and would definitely use them again!

Carl and his team have done 3 separate jobs for me, all related to my hardwood floors. We live in an historic home and wanted to preserve the wood floors. Carl's team was able to sand and refinish the "delicate" (they've been sanded many times over the years) and customized a beautiful finish. We also had to add some wood flooring to an adjacent… area. Carl was able to have custom made pieces to match the original planks and the team sanded and pieced them together to match the original flooring- perfect! Do I do business with snarky rude companies? No. Was looking for a bid for refinishing pine flooring and the guy who made the assessment appointment for Saturday morning at 9am cancelled the appointment because I didn't pick up his confirmation call the night before appointment (Friday) at 9pm. Had one of their vans almost cause a wreck this morning. After trying to cut me off in traffic the employee flipped me off. I called there shop and the gentleman that picked up the phone tried yelling at me for calling it in. Extremely unprofessional and would suggest anyone to use a different flooring company.

If I had met the owner of the company prior to our floors being done, I would never have hired ProSand. The owner is the rudest man I have ever met. I have never spent so much money and treated so rudely. The sales woman was excellent and very knowledgeable, and set up our service to meet our renovation schedule. We had a few blips with the refinishing, but color match and finish were very good in the end. The only time we saw the owner was for a deposit pickup and final payment. We should have gotten the clue when he picked up the deposit and we should have cancelled the order. He was condescending

One star review is one to many stars. Carl treated us like idiots throughout the process and cursed me out on the phone. He lied, and avoided any contact to the max. He cheated on materials we selected by using cheaper products for carpet pad. He left our kitchen floor a disaster due to all the unevenness and therefore sharp edges of the tiles… sticking up which also prevent us from sliding back from our kitchen table without lifting the chair, graut lines in all different sizes. I don't know where to begin. Carl came out to my house to give me an estimate. I thought I understood the cost of the job (I went off the invoice amount at the bottom of the sheet) and I also asked him and he said yes, that was the amount. Also note, his invoices are very hard to read and his handwriting is terrible. We went ahead with the job and… shortly after that, problems starting happening. First, wrong wood was sent to my house ( which was discovered after it sat in my house for a few weeks). I had to follow up with Carl on the schedule since he never kept me posted. His workers were

I recently purchased a new home with 100-yr-old original heart pine floors with an orange-y finish and deporable worn condition. I contacted six companies about refinishing, and received varying opinions, including two who refused to do it at all and said the floors must be replaced. I went with ProSand because the price seemed fair, I wanted to… preserve the antique floors, and they could do the job within a few weeks (the others were scheduling 6 weeks out). They ended up doing my job a week earlier bc someone else moved back their job to a later date.

Carl is very arrogant and rude, and is a thief. He conned my husband into paying an extra $200 for 20 minutes of repairs to the floors that was their fault and they had originally agreed to repair, but never came to do them while under warranty. How convenient. They also slopped stain all over my floor trim and I had to spend hours repainting all… of those, but didn't charge them my labor fee! Do NOT do business with this company! My floors also look terrible with all these black swirl marks from the stain getting into the sanding scratches. That can't be how professionals work.

Carl is VERY rude...Buyer Beware. I wish I would have come here PRIOR to having him ruin our floors. They were better off BEFORE his company refinished them. He accused me of lying (I did not) and was one of the rudest businessmen I've interacted with. Wasted our money as we will have to get new floors after all since his company used cheap finish and ruined them.

I felt the same way when I called them, When the guy came out and took measurements he told me I had to come to his show room to select product and talked down to me like I was stupid and wasting his time. What also irritated me was he could not give me even a ball park estimate on the job and he said he would not know anything until he e-mails me the quote on Monday. I was going to try to keep my money local but I decided to go with Empire Today after all the local companies here in Indy seem to not care about the customer or there needs.

A man stands by his word. Carl does not stand by his word. Carl is bad to do business with. He will take your money and you will never hear from him again. I called this company to inquire about them doing some work on my hardwood floors. The guy who answered the phone repeatedly cut me off within the first 45 seconds of the conversation.
He basically gave me the, "Look, ma'am..." (read: you stupid, ignorant woman)
Well, this educated female attorney who wanted to have her hardwoods completely redone in a 3600 square foot home will take her business elsewhere.
To the rude business owner that answered the phone -- thanks for showing your true colors right away and ensuring that I did not
