Services
At Breeland Funeral Home, we seek to provide quiet service with dignity. That means that we are working tirelessly behind the scenes so that families can enjoy a dignified service that honors the memory of their lost loved one. Breeland Funeral Home is family owned and operated; in other words, we stand behind the service we provide, whole-heartedly committed to offering families caring and compassionate service in their time of need.
Breeland Funeral Home was founded in January of 1959 by Lee A. Breeland, Jr., and has been serving the Madison County and metropolitan Jackson area for over 50 years. Breeland Funeral Home opened its doors in response to a need in the community for personalized, caring and compassionate service. Lee has dedicated most of his life to the service of our community families, and to this day, remains active in the business.
When planning a service, you have many options available to you and we will do all that we can to provide a beautiful and respectful ceremony. No matter your choice, we can offer you a space to join with family and friends in grief, comfort and love. And above all, we will do our utmost to honor your loved one.
When it comes to your final arrangements, shouldn't you make the decisions? The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
