Lighthouse Preschool was established in 1996 as a ministry of Modesto Covenant Church. Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing environment that develops the whole child: socially, emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually. We believe that our low teacher to child ratio combined with developmentally appropriate curriculum will provide your child with the opportunities needed to take him or her to the next level of learning.
Services
The Lighthouse Preschool of Modesto Covenant Church provides a warm, relaxed, and supportive atmosphere which fosters the training of the whole child: mentally, emotionally, socially, physically, and spiritually. Within this atmosphere of Christian love and nurture, educators strive to help children develop problem solving skills, independence, and a positive self-image.
We provide a safe, loving Christian environment for the young child. We value the input of the parents as we strive to help your child become more socialized in this environment. A daily schedule offers the young child stability and familiarity of routine. We believe direct contact with materials will stimulate curiosity through a "hands-on" approach as well as encourage fine and gross motor development.
The children will invite you into their classroom to celebrate the Thanksgiving season with a short program and delicious food. After a wonderful Chapel time with Pastor Mark, the children hunt for eggs and eat a special treat. Pizza parties for the Preschool Classes in the afternoon and a BBQ in the evening for the Pre-K children.
