Tiki-Land Daycare & Preschool was born from the dream of a daycare that should reflect 21st-century values and qualities, and be a place that can be enjoyed by all ages. With our preschool curriculum, we teach things like motor skills, good manners, emotional management, and of course the love of learning in a nurturing bilingual setting.
In our diverse and open jungle themed yard and play area kids are encouraged to take what they learn in the classroom and put it into practice, to be adventurous and ask questions. Services
When you are selected for a position off the waitlist you will be notified via e-mail/phone (if you have a U.S. phone number). You have 24 hours to reply to our initial contact or the space will be offered to the next family in line. After initial contact you have 72 hours to register or the position will be offered to the next family in line.

I absolutely LOVE the drop-in program at Tikiland! All of the daycare I looked into only offered full-time or set days. I'm a hairstylist and my schedule changes a lot. Tikiland allows me to let them know a few days ahead of time when I need care for my daughter and I can just set it up and pay then. Being on a budget and trying to find last minute daycare is not an easy mix. They have been so friendly and accommodating. They also are great at communicating during the day and I love that they take pictures of the kids. I'm so happy my daughter is able to be safe and socialize with other kids. I

I am using the drop in program for my 2 year old. He was not happy in his previous childcare, but he loved Tikiland and was very excited for being there. Right after the first day, when I was picking him up, I noticed for the first time that he was happily playing with other children and talking to them which made me more assured that he was at good hands. I highly recommend Tikiland and will keep using their drop in program which is great for my flexible schedule.

We recently moved to Palo Alto, and our toddler has been really happy at TikiLand—we really appreciate the warmth and responsiveness of the owner/staff. It seems like our kiddo is getting a lot of personal care and attention, and they're really helping her learn to socialize (in addition to doing lots of outdoor playing, art projects, songs, and storytime). This has been a big transition for our family, and TikiLand has been so supportive of our whole family during this time!

Marielle and all other Tikiland staff was very accommodating and friendly. We used the drop in daycare program for just over a week for our 3 year old and she is already in love with this place and wants to keep going and playing!

We came upon Tikiland when we brought our 2-year-old daughter with us to Palo Alto for work for a week. One of the teachers Marielle responded to my questions right away. As soon as I talked to her I knew our daughter will be in good hands. The staff is very interested in knowing her personality and interests, and even prepared special activities for her first day. We feel that she had lots of fun at Tikiland and was also well taken care of.
There are a lot of outdoor play structures at Tikiland as well as indoor toys and projects. It was a joy to see the art projects our daughter brought home

I highly recommend Tikiland for anyone looking for a loving daycare and preschool. The staff is amazing. The place has a great loving energy and everything kids love. They are taking care of the kids as if they were their own. They are always eager to share stories of what is happening during the day, share pictures, art project so we can relate at night. Our 3 years daughter loves her school, and our 1 year daughter (who started at 5 months) is really feeling at home when she is at daycare. This place is such a little gem! We absolutely love it here. The staff is very warm and friendly with little ones. They have amazing backyard with little bunnies, cats and doggies. Our 2yo loves going there. They also provide home cooked meals and I always feel good that my little one is taking care of. I cant recommend this place enough!

Our son really loves going to this family-style daycare. When he's not at daycare he asks if he can go and when we pick him up he is always very joyful and happy. They have a large backyard with slides and a patio where they eat, so the kids are outdoors most of the time. There is a large selection of toys, tools for arts and crafts, books and puzzles for the kids to enjoy. My son likes their home-cooked meals and does comfortable naps. Pily, Marielle and their staff take care of the kids like their own and they really devote their time to the kids and the activities. We highly recommend this daycare

The staff at TikiLand is wonderful!! We were able to use their drop in service and they were so kind and gentle to our 8 month old! He had a great time. We also toured the facility prior to doing drop in care and all of the kiddos looked happy, the staff looked engaged. Their backyard is huge!! Marielle and her mom are so sweet! We will definitely be coming back to do drop in care in the future! Such a great service they offer! Thank you TikiLand!! :)

My son started Tikiland in August right before he turned 2 yrs old. He's an energetic and active boy so I needed a place that could keep up with him! He had some separation anxiety in the beginning, but Pily, the owner, really helped with that and always reassured me it would just take a little time and he would grow to love it, which he absolutely did!

Tikiland is a place that feels like family to us. Pily and her staff are caring, nurturing, and always helpful. We started sending our 3 year-old daughter here 2 years ago. She had a bit of separation anxiety when she first started going to Tikiland. When she cried, Pily would send me a picture of her playing happily 10 minutes later. It always put my mind at ease.

My son started going to Tikiland since February and he loves it! I love that this place feels like home. Pily and her staff are great and make my son feel like he's at grandmas house. He has learn a lot and now he's more independent and feels more confortable around other kids which I really wanted because he's very shy. If you want a place that feels like home I highly recommend Tikiland.

Everyone is looking for something different in their childcare. I was looking for a loving and caring place for my son. I wanted it to feel like family, and that's definitely what you get at Tikiland. If you're looking for rigid structure, or a push towards academics, or anything like that- I'm not sure if this is the place that you're looking for.
Pily is nurturing, loving and caring. My son's Spanish is phenomenal and I have noticed he is quite a bit more adventurous on the playground than he used to be before going there. Tikiland feels a lot like dropping him

I highly recommend Tikiland daycare in Palo Alto. My son attends there since he was 2 month old and he absolutely loved going there every morning and it was obvious that he was well taken-care of and loved by caretakers there. They do a lot of extra curricula activities and all the crafts he has brought home made me smile everyday. They teach children and he learns a lot from Tiki, which I am very appreciative as I work full-time.

I am not sure how does this place gets 5 star in the review. Its very badly organised and safety is a key issue. I went through the door (as it was open of course), kids were sleeping there. If that would be mine, I would be super scared. Writing this review so that parents doesnt waste time/money going there and as warning for existing ones. badly managed.

I highly recommend Tiki-Land Daycare in Palo Alto. My daughter attends and I cannot say enough about how much love and attention she is given. They are very hands-on with the kids, prepare nutritious homemade meals, do craft projects daily and go to the park often when the weather permits. Plus, she's learning Spanish which is amazing! I suggest you at least request a visit and check it out for yourself, you won't be sorry!!!

Tikiland features an amazing outdoor facility for the children to learn, play, and explore. The indoor space is excellent and children get to express their creativity by scribbling on the blackboard wall. The director, Pily, is a trustworthy, loving, and caring person. She has been our regular babysitter for the past 8 months and our baby thrives under Pily's care. He is excited to go to Tikiland every morning when I drop him off. Pily loves every child she cares for like her own family. Thank you Pily for being such an amazing caregiver.
