In October of that year, I decided to venture out on my own and opened an office in Dublin, even though it wasn't the county seat of Pulaski County. I was the first lawyer to have an office in that quiet bedroom community. Seven lawyers now call it home. Like so many young attorneys, I asked to be appointed by the court to represent indigent criminal defendants.

My first three cases involved the sale of cocaine, robbery and murder. I had no choice but to jump in with both feet. I quickly developed a keen interest in criminal cases. After all, almost any criminal case is more interesting than searching real estate titles, preparing a will or a contract, filing bankruptcy for someone, or providing tax advice.

Mr. Shockley is a great salesman to obtain the high dollar fees he charges.
Mr. Shockley can not do any more for you than any other bar certified attorney.

To Britney J's comment.
In 2009 William Schamback Shelton was given a 20 yr prison sentence for the shaken baby death of 14 month old Evan Tucker Lytton-McFall, the son of Mr Shelton's girlfriend.
Mr. Shelton ADMITTED GUILT to police officers who questioned him. That is a huge obstacle to overcome. All this took place before his family ever spoke with Mr Shockley for the first time. When the Shelton family decided to retain Mr Shockley to represent William, Mr Shockley immediatly started working diligently on this case. When Shelton's trial came before the court in Montgomery County,VA. the jury
