We had an emergency and after calling around to at least 7 other vets, they were great about getting me in quickly and out on my way. They gave me options, reasonable pricing, and worked with my regular vet to get her the information needed to continue treating my pet. Definitely appreciate their help and recommend them to others.

Called on Saturday mourning about a sick cat . The lady that answered the phone said we could walk in between 8 and 12. Went to the clinic and walked in a very rude young lady said we had to wait in the car and they would call us .Everytime I tried to give her my name and number she cut me off and said to wait in car untill they called. There is no way she could call me because she did not know who I am or my phone # I guess she was going to let me set in the parking lot with no chance to see the Vet as punishment for walking in. After several attempts she finally wrote down my number. 3 hours

When I went it is 1sT come 1st serve and the parking lot was full. I thought I'd be there for hours but it went surprisingly quick. Also my car battery died and they came out and help me. They were so nice!! I will definitely recommend them to anyone needing a vet!!! Also will be transferring my other dog to them!

I just got a new furbaby and I called around to get an appointment for him. I was elated to get a same day appointment as a new customer! I was told that I would need to call once we arrived to check in. The only downside was that I wasn't advised that I would be worked in. As I sat in my car another customer was upset because she had been waiting for over an hour to be seen. Again being that it was a Monday after lunch I was very grateful to be worked in!
Once we were called into the building the entire process was very efficient and I got answers to my questions about my little boy!!

My Golden Retriever had a cut under his eye. My regular vet couldn't see him I called Kernersville Vet and they said they do walk in appointments from 2 to 5. I took him and got in at 2:00. They were great. Numbed and stapled the wound without having to put him to sleep gave him antibiotics and pain pills. Treated me and my dog with kindness. Price was more then reasonable.

The staff seem to know what they are doing, are compassionate, and the prices are fair to me. The wait times are the only constant detriment, with walk in and appointments. Sometimes I'm in and out quickly, other times it can take over an hour for a simple thing. The only personal complaint I have is that one specific health problem with my pet requires communication with another specialist vet and I always seem to have to remind/ask the Kernersville Vet Hospital multiple times to fax their lab reports to the other vet so that I can get updates for my pet's care at home.

Edited review from 1 to 3 stars. I like the option of their walk in access to care. The veterinarians are nice enough, but if you have the chance to observe any of them administer an injection, they are very brutal, and do NOT inject in the manner that all other veterinarians I have observed administer injections. They JAB the animal (cats, in my case) as far into the body as the needle will go. This was not a fluke. I saw 3 different vets administer injections in that manner to my 3 cats.
Also, this place is fine for wellness care (except for the injections), but they are very poor when it comes

I've been a customer for 30 years. They use to be a great place to go when Dr Dillon was working there and it was locally own. Not the case now since a company based in California now owns it. It's been one drama problem after another when I go now. Today was Sannon didn't want to touch my credit card so I could pay her for the meds. Explain that.
They also don't follow directions or relay information about your pet. That could be dangerous in some cases.
I already have another locally owned vet in mind to give my hard earned $ to and they will care about my pet not it just

I have a 4 month old golden doodle that I brought here for his 3rd round of puppy shots and a wellness check up. They told me everything was good and he was healthy. The next round I took him to a clinic in Greensboro because it was about $10 cheaper for each shot and each med (heart worms, tick and flea) but they suggested an at home ear wash solution and a nail trim so I said "if he needs it then of course go ahead." They trimmed two of his nails soooo short that he bled for 2 hours, I ended up bringing him to this vet and they cleaned him up, cauterized his nails that were bleeding

I adopted a kitten from Spca and took the kitten to Kernersville Vet for a check up and required shots After the vet visit the kitten started to feel bad and was coughing We thought it was just hairballs since the vet gave the kitten a clean bill of health A few days later he went downhill. We took him to a emergency vet and he told us the kitten had a upper respiratory infection that turned into pneumonia The kitten passed away later that night. When we called the vet at kernersville that first. Had seen the kitten she said he had a upper respiratory infection although she didn't mention

Stopped by this vet hospital at 12:30 on a Friday because I googled an emergency animal hospital and this was the closest and it said it was for emergencies... Which is completely incorrect. You can't call yourself an emergency hospital if you don't have a vet on staff for emergencies for over an hour and half during business hours. Extremely disappointing. Pet owners beware.

I have 3 dogs, so having a dependable vet that doesn't charge an arm and a leg, or try to trick you into getting extra tests and services is key.
I started going to KVC about 4 years ago after a very bad experience elsewhere in town. I have been very happy since. The office is not ultra posh, but that's because the doctors care about animals and not getting your money to make their office decorated and furnished in high end artwork and furniture. They are straight shooters and have really taken care of us!
