Sisu Builders, LLC was formed in 2011 by Josh Jipson upon his return to Lakeside, Wisconsin, the place of his upbringing. Previously to returning Josh accumulated ten years of residential and commercial construction experience in Minneapolis, Grand Marais (where Josh owned and ran Arrowhead Construction Company), and McMurdo Station, Antarctica.

Sisu Builders is a comprehensive residential and commercial building company serving northern Wisconsin and Minnesota. Sisu provides a number of construction and design including: general contracting and project management; design and construction of new homes, additions, decks, garages, and sheds; roofing, siding, doors and windows; and custom wood and concrete countertops.
Being "green" is fashionable these days. Sisu approaches green building as part of a green lifestyle, one not based on buying big, shiny things and feeling those things are "green" because they come in packaging made from 30% recycled content, but rather on a genuine commitment to using fewer natural resources and less energy.
