If you are seeking an honest, clear scope of project and kind people working on your home, you have found the right group! Heartwood Construction completed a master bathroom remodel in my home. From the start, with a clear contract, Lonny worked with me to stay within the budget and showed an outstanding knowledge of the industry, flexibility and professionalism. We can't say enough wonderful things about Heartwood Construction, Lonny, and the whole crew! They are super professional, hard-working, highly skilled, and considerate. Being fairly new to the Duluth area we were unfamiliar with any of the companies that do remodeling. We used Heartwood for an upstairs remodel in the spring of 2020 to add spray foam insulation to the top floor our 80 year old house to address our chronic ice dam and water intrusion problems. The project had it's share of surprises and unexpected issues, but none were the fault of Heartwood. Lonny was always courteous and professional in helping us through the process, respecting our decisions and providing guidance and recommendations when necessary. My wife and I had the opportunity to meet Lonny around late September and in October we signed our contract to have Heartwood Construction finish our basement and build a deck. We could not be happier with the work that Heartwood construction completed. The basement is our favorite part of the house now and the quality of the work stands alone compared to the rest of the house. We moved into a new house in September and while Heartwood finished our basement they even took care of a few existing problems that the original builder had left. I have never trusted a contracting crew more in my house
