Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) is a process of carefully massaging the metal back into its original shape without the use of fillers or paint. This can greatly reduce the cost of the repair. It also eliminates any potential problems in color matching, since the original paint is still intact. It takes skill and training to get the job done properly.
Frame straightening and auto frame repair is an essential part to a vehicle, as the vehicle's frame is its most important part. Just like a house with a damaged foundation is unsafe to inhabit, a vehicle with a damaged frame can be unsafe to drive, especially if that damage is in an area subject to repeated stress or in the "crumple zone" (the extreme front and rear, designed to crumple easily in a crash to absorb most of the impact).
Black Mountain Collision provides such great customer service. I had gone in to get my 2006 Honda Accord rear bumper repaired after a truck backed into it when I was parked. The insurance company didn't want to provide an OEM Honda bumper. I spoke with Ricardo after going back and forth with the insurance company and he told me they would make it happen for me.

To me, these guys are miracle workers. I banged my car pretty good against a stucco wall -- I mean, just look at the damage. Scratches past the paint, a horrid dent on the front fender, it was awful.
These guys repaired all of that BEFORE their quoted estimate, AT COST of their estimate (which was, by the way, cheaper than everyone else's), all the while providing me updates and texts throughout the process; about 3 days, if I remember right. And the best part, when I went to pick up my car... it was like I'd never gotten in that accident in the first place. Car was utterly immaculate.

Somewhere outside Grand Junction CO we hit something large and heavy that was in the middle of the road. Our little car made it to our destination ok...but it was banged up a bit. We were fortunate to be located fairly close to Black Mountain Collision. Ricardo took care of us in a very professional manner. Great shop that does great work!
We had a minor bumper crease and some scratches. We knew the car color is unique and would be difficult to match. Worked with JR and he assured us they see this type of damage (and much worse) regularly, and that it would be no issue. Hands down, he was right! The color is a spot on match (he said they checked 5 different versions of the color). Cannot even tell where the repair is. JR also mentioned, if there was an issue with the repair, if it didn't look right, to bring it back. Definitely recommend them.

I was in an accident and in need of an auto repair shop. I found BMC on Yelp and read the reviews. I went in for an estimate and was impressed at the customer service. I had been to another shop down the road and felt pressure to bring my car right in. Here at BMC there was no pressure. The process of the repair and insurance was explained during my estimate. I knew this was the place to bring my car. Throughout the whole process each person I encountered was polite and helpful. I picked up my car and it was new again. My car got rear ended. Ricardo was able to accommodate the bumper replacement in spite of their busy schedule. Ricardo took the time to show, explain the damaged parts and the process of fixing them. My husband had a minimal inspection at this shop today and they were very helpful. He got into an accident today and had some damage on the driver's side door. Unfortunately we are not able to do the repairs with them because my husband is PCSing to Virginia on Tuesday and we can't leave the car in a shop on a different coast. The guy was nice enough however, to adjust the door to have it sealable to weather for free. Even though they knew we weren't going to do business with them I would recommend them based off the service today!

Brought my 2020 challenger here for rear bumper repair because of its 5 star yelp review and told work was so good that I would not tell the difference once repaired. After 3 weeks I went to pick up vehicle the manager wiped the fender where they repaired and a spot of paint wiped off, see pic. I looked and you could see sanding marks in red paint under clear coat. Clear coat was also dimpled and had trash in it. Body QC came out and agreed it need to be re-sprayed. I went with my boyfriend to take his 2019 Honda Civic Type R in Sonic Blue to get a small piece of the bumper near the tire painted. J.R. was straight up and honest with us. Did not fully deploy parking brake on my Mazda MX5, car rolled down the driveway and caused some damage to the front. I choose this shop based on the great reviews and the close proximity to my area. Their work was fantastic and quick. I have been getting daily notifications from the shop about the progress of the repair which is definitely great and gives me an idea of how they are going about doing the work. They also polished my headlights which have been fading badly prior to my accident at no extra cost. Fantastic service, would highly recommend.

My husband and I needed some touch up body work done to both of our cars. We spoke to Mario and he was kind and honest from the start. He was able to fix my husband's and my car to look brand new (we both have cars that are over ten years old and they look fantastic now). Consultation experience was very poor. Their customer service falls short of what reflects of their 5 star rating. I find it disappointing that I initially requested a quote through Yelp's system and told them I needed the left side of my car repaired through insurance with additional out-of-pocket repairs, yet received rude remarks during the consultation.
Mario did the estimate for my car and told him that I went to other shops to get an estimate.
One of his rudest remarks was "Oh, you went all the way over there to get an estimate just for /this/?"

Let me start by saying, Mario is THE BEST! He is very kind and comforting, while also being honest and telling you exactly what your problem is and the best/most inexpensive way to fix it.
Let's be real, no one is happy when their car is scratched, dented, crashed etc. No one wants to have to go through insurance or pay out of pocket, but Black Mountain Collision made the inconvenience as easy and painless as possible.
I will spare the embarrassing details, but at 6 months pregnant (pregnancy brain is a real phenomenon) a very large spider was enough to make me hop out of my car... spoiler

Mario was prompt, honest, friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to email him pictures of the damage and he gave me a great estimate and stuck to it. I dreaded getting work done and he quickly eased my mind. I was really happy when I didn't have to leave my car overnight! The quote was 1/3 the price of Caliber Collision and easier to obtain. I plan to go back to Black Mountain Collision for any of my future auto body work!

Mario and his team are absolutely top notch. He explained the process capabilities and the result is fantastic. My only regret is my own in that keeping a black car tidy is a very busy affair!!!!! Brought our Volkswagen Golf in for some scratch and dent repair. This is the third time we have used them. Always friendly, professional and upfront with the pricing. Each time the repair has been perfect and the car looks new! Also especially appreciate that all three times their estimate of when the car would be finished was correct and we did not have to wait extra days to get our car back. I highly recommend them.
