Lionrock Recovery
Our programs fit into your way of life, not the other way around. You keep your family and work commitments while you get help in our online recovery program. In addition to professional treatment, we offer workshops and support group meetings that are completely free of charge- there's no cost to participate.

I feel a tremendous burden has been lifted off of my soul. To be comfortable to speak with people who I know have gone through the same feelings as me. Also, to just be able to be accountable and admit my mistakes. Seeing my Lionrock family, both counselors and fellow group members in recovery, brightens my day.
Services
We fight for recovery, because we've witnessed addiction's terrible destruction, and also the hard-won joy of a life in recovery. We focus on our client, the whole person, never judging, and always believing that the answers our clients seek lie within themselves. We marshal forces greater than drugs and alcohol, invoking the powers of spirit, community, and knowledge.
Since 2010, Peter has served as chief executive of Lionrock Recovery, which he co-founded. Joint Commission-accredited Lionrock is a pioneer in the provision of telehealth substance use disorder recovery services. Over a nearly four-decade career, Peter has worked in interactive media and technology development, financial services, and energy.
The first things we want to know are: how you are doing and what do you need? Since our goal is to help you achieve your own goals, that's the most important thing. Conversation with a Lionrock admissions counselor is about understanding your situation and then figuring out where to go from there. Most of us at Lionrock are in recovery.
Multiple studies show that getting help online is at least as effective as "in person" counseling. Veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) who have difficulties making it to in-person therapy sessions may be able to get treatment that's just as good by videoconference. Three months after the end of the therapy, patients given online treatment even displayed fewer symptoms.
Your privacy is both guaranteed by law (see our consent forms for details) and our priority. From the moment you first interact with us through when you join other Lionrock alumni, we protect your identity and communications at every step of the process. Of course, to benefit from any treatment program, clients must share their thoughts and feelings with their counselors and group session members.

This was the worst experience I ever had coming out of the hospital after a suicide attempt. I had been drinking heavily for about a year. The drinking was a way for me to cope with an underlying issue. Unfortunately I drank too much one day, and ended up overdosing. Lionrock has an extensive intake then they put you in groups. The group I was assigned to was not welcoming or friendly. I then was reassigned and was told to not talk about what happened because it might be triggering for others. But it's what happened? So I felt ashamed and sad all over again. I got more help from the AA meeting
