In addition, I assist my clients with allocation of parental responsibilities, parenting time and support issues, whether simple or complicated. Lastly, I have significant experience in handling jurisdictional issues as well as Orders of Protection. All clients receive my personal attention and quick responses to their questions and needs.

Divorce is emotionally and financially devastating. With 40 - 50 % of all marriages ending in divorce, it is important that everyone has some knowledge about how a divorce works and how to protect oneself during a divorce. I find that most people are scared by those things with which they are unfamiliar.
Cancel all joint credit cards - Although most credit card companies do not allow you to cancel the card without paying the debt in full, you should notify them that you do not wish any more charges to be placed on the card by either you or your spouse. I first came to Marjorie Sher’s law office in 2011, and since that time, I have continued to work with her on a variety of legal needs. Legal questions can be intimidating, but Marjorie’s expertise, diligence, and fair pricing assured me that my case was being addressed in a timely and ethical manner. She and her staff explained each process, communicated clearly, and followed through with every detail. I highly recommended the legal services of Attorney Marjorie Sher.

Google did not give me an opportunity to respond to any reviews, so I am posting my own review. As to the three negative reviews that I have received, I did not represent two out of the three individuals. I can only suspect that they are reviews written by the other side of one of my cases, an angry ex-spouse or significant other. I pride myself in letting individuals know what they can hope to achieve and what it will cost them to achieve it. Sometimes, even

Marjorie Sher is an excellent attorney. I trusted her and she came through for me 100%. She told me up front approximately how much it was going to cost. It ended up costing less and that was much appreciated. She had my case organized down to the smallest detail. She made my bad situation bearable. I have recommended her to a friend who told me he also felt really comfortable with her.

Hire Marjorie Sher if you want to pay her to draft endless, meaningless letters and make pointless phone calls on your behalf. She will certainly represent you and invoice you promptly but you can get better and more informative advice from a Cracker Jack box. This attorney will not be your advocate and will only stab you in back. Don’t call, don’t email and don’t contact this firm...go elsewhere.

All about the money not about you’re best interest. She will drown you in emails and phone calls running out retainers and running up bills. Gets little to nothing done in months. Stay far away from this lawyer, she thrives off peoples marriage and family struggles to fill her pockets and once the money runs out she’ll drop you in the middle of war at court.
