Adora's heart philosophy is to inspire and empower people to recognize their own magnificence and divinity. Trainings: Adora's early work in the medical profession began as a Certified Medical Assistant supporting MD's in patient care from 1979 to 1990 in Santa Cruz, California. Working as a western medical professional, Adora gained insight into one of her core beliefs at the foundation of her work and interest in the medical field.
These dances invoke all traditions and honors all wisdom paths. We will be singing and dancing and embodying these moving Prayers. We move around the circle, sometimes from partner to partner, allowing our thoughts to fall away as we experience the Divine in each other and ourselves. Murshid Sam, in the 1960's, brought forward the Dances, to awaken the hearts and minds of his Sufi students and create an ecstatic experience of unity.
I began my first session with Adora Deva on 10/16/09, signing up for eight sessions. Referred by my acupuncturist for facial swelling after cataract surgery, it was apparent after discussing my overall health, that lack of deep sleep was the first issue we should consider resolving. Most nights would find me with about 5 hours of sleep and then tossing/turning until dawn.

Adora Deva became a light therapist for me about six months ago. I have had several sessions with her and I have to say each one is completely life-changing. Not only do I have the most internal and external spiritual and magical experiences while being guided through hypnotherapy, included with light therapy, I always leave with a true sense of… clarity. I had the pleasure of having a Light Therapy session with Adora when I was in a great deal of pain which went from a 10 to a 3 and within a couple hours after my session it was gone completely. Plus my face looked so much healthier. I returned for a more comprehensive session which I came away from in a very relaxed frame of mind. This is a place where folks living in fast forward and slow down.

I have had the absolute pleasure of healing with Adora. I have had Lomi Lomi, Light Therapy, G-5, polarity, and aromatherapy with her, and she is a phenomenal healer. She has a deep wisdom, intuition, and awareness of where people are stuck, and she is able to direct her healing into those stuck spots for optimal healing, growth, and transformation. I highly recommend Adora for any and all of these modalities.

I have had both Lomi Lomi as well as Light therapy and other body work from Adora---All have been an experience! She has SUCH a big bag of tricks that one might be hard-pressed to choose a favorite.....So, many times I am just prompted to show up and let her do what she feels is best. I have never been disappointed!
