Rolfing is Structural bodywork that emphasizes the repatterning of one's posture through movement, with the goal of long term impact. The cells of our connective tissues are constantly regenerating to adapt to whatever input we take in. Modern societal living calls for repetitive movements within a narrow range of motion, and our tissue- especially our joints- tend to get bound up.
If you book on the phone, we will get specifics about your needs and intentions, and within the limits of your time and date parameters, will book you with the therapist who will best fulfill those needs. I just had a treatment with Maia and it was absolutely amazing! She was so intuitive and truly gave all her energy to me in hopes to help with some of my pain. I must say it was not your typical massage. I feel like it incorporates energy movement and trigger point therapy while she massages and it really does relieve pain in a major way! So stoked and would highly recommend this to anyone who is in need of healing.

This place is the real deal. I drove up from LA and was looking for a more spiritually authentic massage, than say, the big hotel spa in town. Honestly one of the best massages I’ve had in my life. They offer nuanced modalities and my masseuse, Maia, was incredible. My neck and shoulders feel so much better. Highly recommend.

Aaron is an insanely talented and intuitive massage practitioner. I came in for an hour of structural bodywork to address tightness around my shoulders/chest, hips and calves. I tore my achilles partially 5 years previously and felt vast improvement in my ankle mobility and calf tightness after just 10-15 minutes of work with Aaron. I think spas that offer massages should be considered essential services during this time. Self-care is important to our mental health. I requested for a 90 min massage and Ojai massage was the first one to respond right away. They set me up with an appointment within 5 minutes. My therapist was fantastic. My massage therapist came to our hotel and set up in our patio where I felt it was safe. She had her mask on the whole time, she sprayed down the table before she placed her clean sheets. We wanted to get away from our city, but to somewhere close by so we picked Ojai. It was our first time here; a small relaxing town. How can we not have a massage in such a relaxing area. I wish I could give Ojai Massage 10 stars! It was my first time there, and Aaron and Libby were both great at answering my questions before my appointment. My friend and I recently celebrated our March birthdays by meeting in Ojai for massages, shopping and lunch. Ojai Massage was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our tailored 90 minute massages. Libby helped work out kinks in my neck with both a Shiatsu and long stroke approach.

I think I had the best massage of my LIFE here today! I was seen by Ash, and the minute she put her hands on me I was like, this is a magical person whose hands have healing witch powers! The massage was the perfect balance of relaxing me into a twilight state and digging deep into the knot monsters I have in my neck and shoulders. I contacted Ojai Massage a week before our visitto arrange massages while my sister were here for a getaway weekend. They were prompt to respond and were flexible with our timing. My massage with Aaron was incredible! What really struck me is that he felt completely engaged the entire time - never spacing out and going though the motions.
