Services
Peterson Funeral Home was founded in 1957 by the late Marvin A. Peterson who operated the business until his retirement in 1992. The firm was purchased by Gene and Lynn Steele who currently operate the family owned business. They proudly continue to serve the families in the area and welcome you to their warm and friendly atmosphere.
After notification of a loved ones passing, we will meet with you to begin planning the funeral service. We will help you design a deeply personal service that will pay tribute and honor to the life of your loved one. We will also begin filing all necessary paperwork and assist you in securing the documentation needed to process benefit and insurance claims.
Preplanning your funeral arrangements allows you design your own service and inform your family of your end of life wishes. By taking control of these important choices, you'll help family members and loved ones avoid difficult and complex decisions during emotional times. Use the attached preplanning form to get started, then contact us to begin a detailed, step by step, review of your funeral arrangements.
Funeral services can be difficult for friends, relatives, and acquaintances as well the immediate family of the deceased. When hearing of the news, be present in the moment and available for the bereaved. Allow them to talk about their loved one and their death. Make a gesture to the family to let them know that they are in your thoughts and that you share in their sorrow.
