I have been in the cosmetology profession for 22 years and I work with my clients in a collaborative manner by listening and working with them. I am new to the area, so I was a little nervous about finding a new hairdresser. I googled Hairdresser and Helena had positive reviews. I am happy to say I found my new hairdresser on the first try. Helena was so professional and did an excellent job on my hair. I would say it is probably one of the best hairstyles I have had. Highly recommend 💇♀️

First off, Halaina's Salon has a great website that outlines services, prices, and when you can schedule an appointment! With COVID, Halaina had to move her business back to her home but it's still a great experience. She truly sticks to her word when she says you get great service backed by 30 years of experience and leaving as friends :) I needed a simple trim today and Halaina was great at explaining her thought process and what she was going to do. I look forward to doing coloring service with her, because she's very up front about what's good for you and your hair. She

I was lucky to find Halaina and her salon. Her ad says you come in as a customer and you leave as a friend, and that's very true. In addition to being a skilled hairstylist, she has a compassionate, understanding ear and she listens to what you think you want for your hair, offer suggestions, in the end product is better than you even thought. I cannot recommend her highly enough both professionally and as a very kind person.

I am new to the area, and I feel extremely fortunate to have found Halaina. She really took her time when cutting my hair. She listened to what I was looking for and also made some helpful suggestions, which I agreed with, and I really liked the end result.
Not only is Halaina a talented stylist, she is a very nice person who made me feel comfortable and welcome! Her prices are reasonable as well.

As a retired hairstylist from NJ I am really fussy about who does my Cut and color. I can confirm that Halaina does an amazing job with both. My hair was thinning out due to health issues and she did amazing cut on it to make it look thicker and fuller.
She's also an expert colorist. I came in with an idea of what I wanted, and after discussing it with her we came up with another plan and I am so happy my hair looks amazing. I highly recommend Halaina.

I met Halaina at another salon, months ago. She actually listened to me exactly as I said. I am not a person who likes my hair short in the back and long in the front, which is what I always end up with and pay for, since I moved from NY. I had long hair and asked someone to cut it short, and I ended up with an embarrassing enormous afro, and I'm a caucasian. I should add, that she's an expert, cutting curly hair.

Halaina squeezed me in at the end of a long day and fixed my brassy orange hair problem. She not only is truly knowledgeable about hair coloring, but also listens to you when you explain what you want and has a great sense of what would look good. The end result is I now love my new color and style, and my hair looks and feels fantastic. She's very friendly and fun to talk to as well. Excellent advice and service, and took to explain the whole process and advise me on the best products. I now plan all my visits to Myrtle Beach around my Halaina's Salon appointments! Highly recommend

When you see the ONE $ sign, that is absolutely not true. To me, this place should get at least 3 $$$. It was expensive, to me. $$110 for a cut and color??!! Halaina told me she didn't like my haircut and that my previous hairdresser of 25 years! wasn't using good color. Never again. I found a new, great hairdresser and am now very happy.

Was vacationing from Chicago and called Based off of the reviews from Yelp. It was great that my daughter and myself could come in that day for a cut and style. The salon was professional and courteous. We were Waited on immediately and everyone was so nice. My daughter wanted a shorter haircut and it turned out beautiful! I knew I wanted something different, so I left it up to Halaina to decide. I couldn't be happier with the final style and so thankful, I picked this out and there was availability. Halaina was very accommodating to my schedule, professional and super friendly, it was my first time here but they made me feel so at home I felt like I had known them for a long time, her shop is beautiful it's clean there's no dust, or hair flying around, she does a beautiful hair cut, listened to what is important to me, and executed it. beautiful washing great products in a beautiful location. I will definitely go back, so happy to have found her!
