Hailing from NY, Beth grew up in Myrtle Beach. SC. 19 years in "The Business", she graduated from American College of Applied Arts. Beth has attended the Goldwell Institute in Baltimore, Maryland, as well as hair shows: Haircolor USA, IBS -N.Y. and Miami. Also, the Premier show in Orlando. She has been trained by Schwarzkopf and Loreal in color.

I was taking a break from work and wanted a change in current hair style --although I had recently had my hair cut , it had no movement or style and was wrong for my face. After reading all the reviews on Vega Hair Design I decided on this salon. Then reading each artist's specialities and history--they were ALL amazing but I chose Greg based on his color speciality. He was booked solid but was able to work me for a cut during color processing of another patron. He knew exactly how to cut my hair for my head shape and face features. The cut was one of the most flattering short cuts in a while

Just left Vega Salon where I had the pleasure of having Greg cut my hair. I wear my fine straight hair in a bob, but recently I wasn’t getting it exactly how I wanted it from my hometown stylist. I showed some pictures of what I was going for and he cut it to perfection!!! My husband even said it’s the best cut I’ve ever had. Thanks so much Greg!!

This was my second time at the Vega Hair Design and I wasn't disappointed! The stylists are friendly, the place is cozy, and they make my hair look and feel great! I have really curly hair and Greg does a great job of straightening it with the Japanese Hair Straightening chemical treatment. I've been to several different salons to straighten my hair and have learned that this treatment can really damage your hair if not performed properly, so I was so glad to find Greg after reading all his positive reviews. I just wanted to take a minute shout out my man Greg! He did a phenomenal job on my hair! I have just recently started coming to him and when I did my hair was a decent length but was broken and pretty damaged. My first appointment I wanted it cut to help get the damaged ends off then I went a couple days and wanted more and he had me back and did just that with no charge! Greg is just awesome!! Now a few weeks later I wanted more cut and some highlights and lowlights and also asked about a Brazilian blowout but he has figured out how I like my hair in just a short time we discussed it and he knew

Greg was awesome! I just moved to the area and had my hair done by someone else and I hated it. I showed up at Vega Hair and not only did he fix it but he took me in, IN THE SAME DAY. He told me to come back in a hour! My hair wasn’t awful but I still hated it and it was just not what I wanted. It was a hair crisis to me and Greg saved the day! He did not treat me as an inconvenience even though I know I messed up his already busy schedule. Instead, he was kind, attentive to my needs and very knowledgeable. He was happy to help me. Greg was my hair stylist from today and he did an absolutely amazing job! I am from North Carolina and wanted balayage done on my hair and I found out about Greg, and I'm so happy I did. I have naturally really dark hair and Greg was able to make these colors bright and vibrant. I was truly 100% satisfied with the results. Plus him and the staff were so friendly. I highly recommend this salon!!

Greg does amazing work. First time going to Vega and getting a cut from Greg, I was impressed with the feel and attention to detail. I have been going and using Greg since. Wouldn't have anyone else cut my hair. Whether I describe it or show him a picture he will make cater the style to my hair. Thanks Greg. I need to get in there this weekend.

I have been coming to Vega for about a year now! Great place, with a friendly staff who show their clients incredible hospitality before, during, and after seeing your stylist!! They offer you coffee, bottled water, wine, beer, and soft drinks while you are here. Greg Blythe is my personal stylist. I am more than happy with my experience with him. I never leave here with even one hair out of place. No matter what hairstyle I choose he makes me look good. I have received numerous compliments from men and women on how good my hair, beard, eyebrows look so well kept!! I have referred several people

I was in Myrtle Beach for my niece's wedding. At the last minute I decided to get my hair trimmed. I called Vega on Friday and got an appointment for the very next day for a few hours before the wedding, so i was a bit nervous. A gentlemen quoted the prices to me over the phone and I found them to be reasonable. When I arrived the salon was busy yet very clean (something that is important to me). Shanna was fantastic, and made me feel at ease right away. She listened to how much I wanted trimmed and how I wanted my hair styled. She was so sweet and even gave me great restaurant recommendations

My first experience with Vega was a great one! I told Greg what kind of hairstyle I was looking for and he listened and offered suggestions. I was pleased with the hairstyle and the color was not exactly what I was looking for, but close. Very professional and friendly staff. I walked out of there happy and relaxed.

While vacationing in Myrtle Beach, I received a phone call requesting I come in for a job interview as soon as I return home. I just moved to the area... this will definately be my salon..... Michele did an awesome job on my hair and she has a wonderful personality.... it's easy to tell that the stylists really like each other and are like family.... There's a very friendly atmosphere and I felt like I belonged there.... all of the color, cuts and styling by every stylist looked amazing.... I've found my salon here! :-)
