Let's face it. There are a lot of homes in the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana area that simply aren't comfortable. Most use more energy to heat and cool than they should. I've used Illiana in the past before moving to another state. I've just returned to Indiana and Illiana was my first choice for quality maintenance of our HVAC system. Our technician, Tony W, had actually serviced our previous home over 10 years ago and he remembered us! That's customer service!

Soon as the weather turned cold my boiler quit working. IHAC sent out Kevin a tech with 23years of experience. He quickly diagnosed and resolved the issue. They were quick and very reasonable for an emergency call out. Highly recommend!

Consumers heed caution when selecting the company for services. Huge lack of transparency. They hide behind the façade of Christian values until you confront them and engage at the same level of eschatology. Then the condescending conversation and emails occur. Kevin needs a check up from the neck up. Read reviews here as well as other platforms like Google . These tools are at the disposal of the consumer in order that we as consumers empower other to make choices to support companies that do right by their customer base, not take advantage of them and the situation. We had Tyler come out and do a tune up for $69. He found a crack in the heat exchanger and told us the cost of the tune up was now $89. We asked why he said because it was for the diagnosis. That felt like a bait and switch. I called in and they said Kylie reluctantly said they wouldn't charge it. The part is under warranty by the manufacturer. Beware their labor charge is $300 more than the local competition to install a "free" part. The lack of stars is due to the attitude of the office staff, the lack of follow through by the office ( said they would call back with a labor quote

Every year they do maintenance check on our air conditioner and every year our air conditioner goes down. That's crap. Maybe once we get what we pay for!

We purchased our home in January. The furnace was only 2 years old. We called Illiana Heating since they are the ones who put it in and it was still in warranty. They would not grant the the manufacters warranty since the previous owner no longer lived there. We called another heating co and they were more than happy to grant the manufacturers warranty. I still don't understand why you do the work and give out a warranty and then refuse to grant it when something goes wrong.

I have used Iliana a couple of times, once for no heat and once for cooling. The no cooling issue was resolved by changing out a capacitor. It was fairly quick and the technician was friendly. The cost of the capacitor was a little high but we had cooling so no biggie. How do I know the price was high? I have been working in retail facilities management for the past seven years. I manage contractors and deal with maintenance for a living.

The heat call was after hours on a Friday. The tech showed up once my wife was home from work. She then calls me and tells me that the tech can fix but

A couple weeks ago I had Dan from Illiana heating and air conditioning out.
I wanted to be proactive because my furnace and air conditioner was about 20 years old.
I went with a new 95% efficient furnace and a compressor for my air conditioning. The installers came out and put it in in one day, everything looks great , we had a little problem with an off-color diffuser but I spoke with Dan and he worked to find the right one. once he found it he sent his guy out take care of it right away everything looks good and works good I definitely would use Illiana heating and air conditioning again.

I can't think of any reason why to give less than 5 stars. Rick, Kevin and Mike installed a new furnace, a/c, and water heater today.....it was a big job that took all day, but that didn't keep my husband and I home on a beautiful summer day......we felt confident leaving our home (and cat) in their hands. Thank you Illiana for being so professional, your customer service is amazing, and this is one satisfied customer. I will highly recommend you again.

We heard a loud noise coming from the furnace two mornings ago and the house smelled like a burnt motor, so we turned the heat off (It was 16 below zero outside). After calling a technician responded promptly within 3 hours. We thought the blower motor went bad...well it did...and there were cracks in the heat exchanger and condenser. Oh no!

Within 20 minutes Dan was at the house discussing options for a new furnace. Two days later, after Kevin did a fantastic installation the house is warm again. They arrived promptly at 8AM, took about 3 hours for the install. The technicians were extremely
