Gracie Jiu Jitsu Apple Valley
By far the most popular program, Gracie Combatives is comprised of 36 techniques that have been applied more times by a GJJ practitioner during a real street fight than all other techniques combined. These 36 techniques are divided into 23 one hour long classes, and can be taken. Reflex development is a program designed to enhance your instincts with combatives.

After completing each combatives lesson twice you will be allowed into this program. We combine multiple techniques from the combatives lessons to simulate what may occur during a real attack. Beyond Gracie Combatives belt, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) consists of hundreds of advanced techniques organized into a clearly defined, systematic curriculum called the Master Cycle.
Services
We have multiple plans with prices that range between $85.00 to $130.00 per month depending on your needs and commitment. Private lessons are available at a separate cost. We also offer family discounts of 25% to 50% off to those who wish to give GJJ to their loved ones or train together. Military and LE discounts of 25% off are also available.

Excellent atmosphere and great staff. The instructors are kind and knowledgeable, and are great with kids. Easy to work with and they always have answers to any question. Great value as well. Less than one hundred dollars a month. Would highly recommend.

Gracie Jiu Jitsu is by far the best place I’ve attended. On day one, my parter who knew the lesson already stayed with me the whole time to make sure I got the technique down. Everyone made me feel like I’ve been apart of the gym for years. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a good home to learn Jiu Jitsu and more!

There excited to teach you and your definitely going to learn a great move the very first day you show up. You will notice The patience they have for the students is incredibly awesome. This place is amazing! From the moment I spoke with Johnny I felt good and at ease knowing my son would be getting into a great gym and have so much support and knowledgeable instructors to help him on his journey to self defense. We went in and right away were welcomed with open arms and the place was very clean! Aaron was super awesome spoke to my son and made my son feel very comfortable, safe and happy. Love the way they teach and how great they are with the kids. My son has tried other places but this one stood out and is definitely the place he feels is for him and so do I. Glad we chose

This place is amazing. I went in as a beginner wanting to try Jiu Jitsu and they made it easy choice to try out here. The trainers are so knowledgeable and nice. They made me feel so comfortable to step out on the mat knowing I was nervous. If you want to try out Jiu Jitsu for the first time I would definitely recommend coming here

This is a great gym to practice jiu jitsu. The atmosphere is very family oriented and the instructors do an amazing job. They take their time and show you the different techniques and strategies. There are plenty of different times throughout the week to come and train. The little champs class is amazing as well. They help to build confidence and strong habits. My grandson absolutely loves the classes and he is learning a lot. They also have an MMA area that is amazing.

This is by far the best place to go in the high desert! While having good prices and classes at all times for people, the instructors are some of the nicest people I have met in training. They have high knowledge in the sport and explain everything very well for everyone to pick up on it right away. I plan on staying with this team for years to come

My son and I have been attending Gracie AV for 3 years. The environment is welcoming and positive, with students of all shapes, sizes and backgrounds working on their jiu jitsu journey. The begining of the Gracie system is built on self defense, not competition. It's designed that anyone, no matter athletic ability, can learn and defend themselves. Same with the kids program, Bullyproof, that my son has done for the 3 years. could not reccomend it enough to anyone looking for a lifestyle change. You will definitely get out what you put in.

I just signed up for a year at this gym for me and 6 months for my boys 5 days into the free 10 day trial period they offer. Johnny has built a great gym with a welcoming environment. Aaron, his assistant instructor, is a fun loving knowledgeable guy and is great with all the kids. Very clear instructions and explanations of the techniques. I know very little about jiu jitsu, but am eager to go through the Gracie combatives program and embrace the Gracie way of self defense.

Also, a testament to Johnny, is the other members of the gym willing to teach, Coach, and take care of the gym. You

I came here for 1 year under contract. I left in April 2020. I have a few reasons as to why I left.
The main reason was that I wasn't getting the results that I wanted. I paid for membership went to 6 classes a week along with 2 privates a week. I do the same now at a different gym. Read more and you'll see the change in my reults in just 6 months between the two gyms.

1. They advertise for health, fitness, weight loss and self defense. When i started i went in at 190. In the 1 year there i got down to 175. I left to a different Jiu Jitsu gym. I've been there for 6 months

This is the best Jiu Jitsu gym in the high desert! I've been doing this a little while now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. There's so many great things about this place, Johnny is an awesome teacher, this guy goes over the smallest details to make learning the technique seem so easy. His assistant Aaron is great too and they both make sure to take the time to make sure you're learning the right way. The moment you walk in you can tell the place is really clean and well taken care of. Everyone is friendly, whether you're new to Jiu Jitsu or you've been doing it forever

All praise for Gracie Jiu Jitsu AV. My two sons and husband have gone here for two years. We are moving out of state and it is going to be very hard to find another place that feels the same as our Gracie family. No matter the age group, everyone is always positive.

My sons participated in the Bullyproof program and worked up to Black Belt club. I have seen their confidence, strength and respect sky rocket thanks to the Gracie gym. I also appreciate that the Bullyproof program has the kids focus on different values every two months (manners, health, respect, citizenship, etc). The Bullyproof program

If your looking for realistic self defense, the instructors here are the right choice. Johnny Vasquez and his assistant instructor Aaron Trobee have helped me break my preconceived notion that I am too old to consistently train in an effective martial art. At 55 I have found a community and a family of like minded people involved in an effective system promoting a positive lifestyle both on and off the mat. Gracie Jiu Jitsu Apple Valley is a direct Gracie lineage certified Gracie Training Center (CTC) with the Gracie's Headquarters in Torrance CA. Both of my sons, ages 18 and 12 attend regular

Johnny puts on a front for everyone. He is never there and has another person by the name of Aaron taking over ALL classes. If Aaron was running the facility it would be awesome. Don't get into a contract because that's where the problems start. Johnny will gloat about how many new cars he owns, what new trip he has taken and also the new toys he buys. He won't turn on the air nor heater for the facility unless the press comes in. In the winter, you could literally see your breath in there and you are chattering your teeth off and he would refuse to turn the heat on and tell us stories
