Children at Discovery Preschool learn and develop their social and emotional skills; fine motor and academic skills through play and exploration. Our goal is to provide an environment that sparks creativity and imagination where children can thrive and enjoy learning. Starting in the fall, we will be adding 30 minutes to our 3 hour day schedule and our tuition costs will reflect our new longer schedules. We will continue to offer 2-day, 3-day and 5-day options. We will also continue to offer individual class schedules and smaller class sizes; daily health checks, contactless signing in/out and protective face masks for everyone.

Services
Children learn and grow at their own pace. As experienced teachers, we understand that every child is an individual and our job is to guide and nurture each individual. We are a small school, which is one of our greatest strengths. Being a part of our preschool community will give you and your child a more personalized experience.
Setting the stage for future success is what preschool is all about. Our preschool program is designed to teach our students using a hands-on approach. Enriching activities with subjects that include: letter and number concepts; art and science; pre-writing and writing skills; fine and large motor skills; music and movement; interpersonal, social and emotional skills.

Both children attended Discovery. We ended up there after seeing the profound experience their cousin had when she was a student. The staff is exceptional and it starts with the Director, Maria. Maria runs a tight ship but is as compassionate and caring as you would want someone to be who is guiding the early education of your child. She has… assembled an amazing staff of teachers and aides who love your children as their own. They have worked in concert to help our children learn the academic and social skills necessary to succeed in school.

With lots of research and nervousness, I was sending my first born to preschool for the first time and I wanted a safe and fun environment for her to blossom. I am so grateful that this journey led us to Discovery. Our daughter started there with two days a week and she was in love with school. She really blossomed as a community member and learned many social skills required for school. With recommendation and the ability to observe, we enrolled our daughter in the 5 day TK program. I was hesitant that I may have overwhelmed her with too much school, but I am amazed at the growth my daughter has

It would be difficult to describe what a special place Discovery preschool is. Everything about it is exceptional.
I first found out about Discovery when my oldest started Kindergarten. I overheard some other parents talking about the preschool their children had attended and it sounded amazing. At the time, my middle son was having a hard time at his preschool and my husband and I were looking to make a change. We toured Discovery and enrolled him that day. This is our second time around at Discovery Preschool, and we still love it so much. My daughter went here for two years, and my son is midway through his first year there as well. This is a school that just oozes love for your child. It is a very small school (3 classrooms, 6 teachers plus the Director) so it is very intimate and every single teacher gets to know and interact with every child. It's a developmental, play-based school so most of the day is spent playing and exploring with a little arts and crafts and ABCs thrown in too.
