To practice orthodontics, Dr. Pakravan spent 11 years in training (four years of college, four years of dental school, and three years of orthodontics residency). The orthodontic student spends three years learning the skills needed to manage tooth movement and to guide facial development.

To say I’ve had pretty messed up teeth is an understatement, however by the time I was done with my Invisalign treatment I gain so much confidence in my smile. The staff is just amazing! They were so nice and knew what they were doing. I always looked forward to my appointments. Windy City Orthodontist is the best there is! Highly recommend it.

My 13 year old daughter Jasmyne has been coming to Windy City orthodontics for almost a year for her Invisalign. The front desk staff, assistants in the back and Dr. Pakravan are all exceptional. The professionalism, knowledge and kindness that my daughter and I receive when we go to the clinic for her appointments are superb. The experience with Windy City Ortho was wonderful. The appointment was for my 12-year-old son. We had no idea what to expect on our first visit. My son was so nervous for days leading up to the visit.
When we arrived the front desk intake staff was welcoming, sweet, and very professional. We first met with Angelica, who took all of the images, scans, and X-rays. She was amazing and instantly connected with my son easing his mind. She’s so personable and you forget that you’re there for something scary (said by my son).
Next we met with Joel who ran through a short questionnaire to prepare

I went today to get Invisalign consult. I previously went to a different orthodontist and thought the price was high so I was shopping around to compare. The staff were friendly and efficient. The only problem I had is the fact that I went to a orthodontist office and I have not seen or interacted with an orthodontist. Coordinator Carla was fabulous explaining but if I'm going to a orthodontist and shelling out 5-7k for him to straighten my teeth, I expect to see an orthodontist! The fact I didn't see one rubbed me the wrong way. I'm sure Dr. P is a nice guy from glowing reviews

My daughter had an issue when her orthodontist was closed for 3 days. I called Windy City and explained the situation. The staff and doctor were so nice and helpful. They took care of the issue with no questions asked and treated us like we were one of their patients. I was so thankful for the help when we needed it.

The staff at this office are super professional and so fun. Through my experience with braces I felt like I knew very well what I was doing because they explain everything so well. Honestly I’ve heard other people’s experiences at other orthodontist office's and those experiences sound terrible and not fun compared to the one I had here. I looked forward to coming to my appointments and even stayed a little extra time because I knew that I was going to have some great conversations and that we would be able to catch up on all that we did the past month. I am really happy with the care my son gets at Windy City Orthodontics. Everyone is so professional and caring and gives us the time and attention to be partners in the journey of wearing braces. I don't remember my experience being so painless. Dr P is amazing and very knowledgable. One of the reasons I found him was through a friend whose daughter had some issues and couldn't get good advice. Would not recommend this place. We went there for the first time today. We waited in the waiting room for over an hour and still did not see the doctor. My son who was 8 was getting really anxious from waiting so long for getting his procedure done. The office is not run well if they are unable to let the patients know if they are running behind. The office manager blamed the front desk for the bad communication and the front desk blamed the office manager.

I had the best 4 year experience with Windy City Ortho! I have so much anxiety when I'm doing anything involving my teeth and they made sure every appointment i was comfortable. They gave me comfort being there so long! When i purchased my home they gave me an awesome gift. When they told me i wasn't getting my braces off when expected they gave me a gift card to make me feel better. They truly always made me feel welcomed and i will definitely miss seeing them all the time! I highly recommend bringing your kids or yourself here. Beyond amazing staff!

My experience here was awful. On the day of my free consultation I was greeted by Charlie, a sales Representative. He gave me a tour of the facility and spoke with me about my concerns. I told him that I needed top braces to prepare the spacing for an implant and Charlie was adamant about me getting both top and bottom braces because the cost of this treatment plan was $6700.00. I was also told that I would need to put down a $500.00 deposit toward my treatment plan to solidify my next appointment. I don't get the 1star review. All our visits here, we were met with courteous staff. Even by phone, they worked with us with our insurance issues. Treatment wise: We are so happy with the results! My son's teeth looked great. He now has the confidence to smile and get his pictures taken. Every visit we had for the last 2years were outstanding. Dr. P is always very professional, takes time to explain treatment details and dealt well with a child with developmental issues. His staff are absolutely wonderful. I am only about halfway through my treatment (give or take) and I absolutely LOVE Windy City Ortho! Not only is Dr. Parkravan great, but so is his staff! Everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable. My experience on the phone (twice) and in person (once) were...confusing...at best. I originally called to get pricing for new retainers. I asked, "what is the price for new top & bottom Holley retainers?" She replied, "what is your last name?" To which I said, "ma'am, I'm just calling around for pricing. I'm not a patient yet." We love Windy City Orthodontics! My twin sister and I both have braces and always love to go in a see the really nice staff.
Dr. Pakravan is always so nice to us and makes sure to let us know we are doing a great job keeping our braces clean and following the rules.
We even get rewarded for office visits and not braking brackets. For every 100 points you receive you get to pick a gift card to one of your favorite places to use.
I would highly recommend you take your children to get braces here!

I chose Windy City Orthodontics for my Invisalign treatment because of the positive reviews and the wonderful doctor and staff. I was given a very fair payment plan option and decided to go for it. My experience was very positive and I feel I was given the very best of what is offered for Invisalign. Fresh aligners every 3 days (rather than just 1-2 per month), regular checks ups, a permanent retainer and two custom retainers were all included in my package. I highly recommend Windy City Orthodontics for Invisalign. Im very happy with my final results.

This place is great. Dr. P is an awesome guy. Has been giving my child super service. The staff is nice as well. Having moved to Chicago from Birmingham, AL, I needed to find an orthodontist here who could replace a cracked upper retainer for me. Boy did I find the right place!
I can't think of any other business I've ever been to, of any type, where every single person in the joint is so stinkin' nice! (Well, truthfully, my dentist's office in Birmingham was mighty close...) What a joy to have that kind of warm welcome in the dead of Chicago winter.
The day I went in to get the mold made for the upper retainer, the good Dr. also replaced some glue that had come off of my lower permanent
