Services
We all share a common passion for martial arts - and extensive experience in a variety of styles. Tyrone Angolia began training in Praying Mantis Kung Fu in 1994 and was fortunate enough to train with his Sifu for the next ten years. In 2003 he became a successor of the Chen Zhen Yi lineage of 7 Star Praying Mantis Kung Fu.
We are primarily a membership-based gym. Our policy is flexible - we recognize that Life happens - but we do ask that members respect our needs to keep the gym running in return. Our student code of conduct - please familiarize yourself with the Gym Etiquette guide, which covers dress codes, medical issues, and expected gym behavior.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) is one of the core programs at Precision. We offer several classes, suitable for beginner to advanced, and both Gi and No-gi. Students in our BJJ program span a wide range, from those just looking to get a great workout to those competing in regional and national tournaments.
Mixed Martial Arts integrates techniques from a variety of martial arts, from striking to grappling. The striking system draws heavily on Muay Thai and Boxing with some traditional martial arts elements. Striking is taught with special attention to transitioning to clinches and takedown defenses, to keep it as close as possible to real situations, whether self-defense or a cage fight.
In addition to our core programs in Brazillian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), we offer martial arts-based classes that focus on developing balance, fitness, and agility. If you have always wanted to try martial arts, or are just looking for a way to get physically and mentally fit, these are the classes for you.

Professionally ran, but not in a sound way. Their main objective: is to make money. So they water down this craft to fit the mold of the family friendly atmosphere. I understand this, but they are not providing real self-defense training. Their MMA records (or lack of thereof) speaks for itself, their “comp team” is usually composed of noobs who always lose. The few ones that do win, is due to previous training prior to joining. Their jitz team is lackluster, a testament of the family friendly atmosphere. Look people, what their bjk training does provide, is sports concept and promotes a healthy

If your looking for a martial arts gym that is dedicated and focused on their students- this is it. Never before have i had such positive interactions at a gym.
You are welcomed as family, all people- regardless of current skill level.
Coach justin and professor tyrone are patient, professional, and genuinely care for their students. This is a facility that anyone can walk into and feel welcomed. Every student i have had a interaction with has been overtly positive. Everyone is family. Everyone will take time out of their day to help you with your technique and skill level.
I genuinely cannot

I joined RISE at age 42 with absolutely no experience at Jiu Jitsu. The instructors are patient but firm, and understood my skill level without being coddling. After two months of instruction, I am addicted to the challenge, the physical demands of this art, and the process of learning. These guys are extremely knowledgeable, yet surprisingly nice considering how dangerous they are. They are true professionals.

Having trained at numerous locations over the years, I can honestly say the last three years at Rise have been far above average in both quality and quantity. The black belt Jiu Jitsu instruction and MMA program is phenomenal. The number of classes available ensures that Rise can work for anyone's schedule.

Josh and his instructors provide a safe and welcoming environment to martial artists of all age levels and experience. I was thoroughly impressed with how understanding they were of an individual's needs as well as how caring, focused and respectful the classes were. A great workout, valuable skills, fun and an instructor who is so incredibly fluid with his obvious Jiu Jitsu mastery, that he continually inspires one to improve while breaking it down in such a way as to make it accessible to anyone. Highly recommended.
