Lyn-Way Restaurant has recently placed exceptionally well in the Ashland Times-Gazette's "Best of the Best" competition. Lyn-Way was awarded first place in the following categories: Best Local Restaurant, Best Pie, and Best Desserts. Lyn-Way also received a second place award for Best Lunch Specials.
In addition to great food, Lyn-Way also offers fun activities like the monthly Cruise-Ins where customers can show off their classic automobiles. Lyn-Way is a cozy family-owned place to come, relax, and enjoy a home cooked meal, but most importantly it is a place to meet and make friends while having fun.

Services
Lyn-Way got its start with a piece of pie and a cup of coffee. Merle had a great idea for a restaurant, and one day the name occurred to him: "The Lyn-Way." When Lyn-Way II was built the old building was completely demolished. The available seating for this building was 76 people. There were also 33 employees to keep up with the increasing business.

Beyond impressed!! This was my first visit and I cannot say enough about this place. The food was phenomenal. The service was friendly and quick. The thing that impressed me the most was how clean it was. I grew up in a family owned restaurant so I noticed right away! The place was spotless! You just do not see that anymore! Bravo...cannot wait to go back!

I really hate to write this review. Had dinner there last night. . my companion and i ordered their specials. the strip steak and seafood platter. The seafood platter consisted on one piece of fish, 5 shrimp and 4 scallops and a small sweet potato. the Steak was a nice size piece of meat, mashed potatoes and a salad. The piece of fish was all curled up from being overcooked. had to saw at with a knife to cut it. the shrimp were small, not juicy and also over cooked. the Scallops were rubbery and fishy smelling. The Steak was full of gristle and fat. the mashed potatoes were not well prepared instant

Great place to eat! The only slight issue, they didn't have kid's breakfast menus. They gave them the lunch/dinner menu. It was 10am, so we were there to eat breakfast. We asked about breakfast for the kids and she said 2 options were available both being pancakes. I don't know if this is typical. It wasn't a huge problem, just found it to be odd. Our service and food were both great.

Just happened to find this place coming back from Cleveland. Great food. Great service. My son and I had the country fried steak, my wife had the open faced roast beef, and my daughter had the Cleveland club sandwich. Potato skins for an appetizer. All of us were extremely happy with our selections. This never happens. Loved this place. Wish we would have had room to try the pies. Very reasonable pricing on everything.

Picking up my daughter at AU today, and wanted to grab a lunch before she's done school, so I came here. And am I glad I did.
The staff was super friendly and helpful, and my order came out quickly.
I ordered the BLT (with an extra serving of bacon ... ;-) ...you can see it poking out from under the slices of bread) and white country gravy (which was great with the fries!). The coffee was good too, strong just like I like it. A simple lunch, but so good.
Will definitely return next time I'm in Ashland, maybe will come by dinner.
