Sondra Sexton-Jones is an American author and speaker on coping with grief following the death of a loved one by suicide or other means. She wrote her book, When Someone You Love Completes Suicide, after the death of her husband by suicide.

She is the facilitator of Survivor of Suicide groups provided on an as-needed basis. Perhaps you're in the midst of a difficult divorce. It could be that you're experiencing conflict with one of your children. Or maybe you're having trouble coping in the aftermath of a life-changing event, such as losing your job, being the victim of a violent attack, or facing the death of a loved one.

As a licensed professional counselor, Sondra Sexton-Jones helps patients navigate grief, depression, and other emotional trauma impacting everyday life. She approaches counseling with a holistic view on all the ways that events and emotions interact to create further family or professional issues, suicidal thoughts, and other behaviors or feelings inhibiting a fulfilling life.
Sondra Sexton-Jones is in private practice in Juneau, Alaska. She provides a wide variety of mental heath services through psychotherapy and has an extensive background in treating grief and loss issues stemming from traumatic deaths. Since 1989, Ms. Sexton-Jones has provided therapy, and consulted with corporations relating to providing education and information behind trauma deaths on site.

Sondra is an exceptionally well qualified counselor, beyond the academic, she herself has experienced much of the same struggles, hurts, and hopes that she has chosen to help others get through and recover from. A wonderful and kind woman and consummate professional.
