Services
Our goal is always to help our patients maintain their oral health and to care for and protect their natural teeth. Maintaining oral health includes good home care and regular visits to our office for preventive care, which includes oral examinations and cleanings. Comprehensive examinations of the mouth, teeth, surrounding gum tissues, and supporting bone structures help with early detection and treatment of problematic conditions.
Dr. McKenzi Taylor was raised in Kansas City, Missouri. After graduating high school, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northwest Missouri State University. Following this, she continued her education to obtain a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Missouri- Kansas City.
An oral examination is a visual inspection of the mouth, head, and neck, performed to detect abnormalities. Radiographs allow for a more complete examination, helping the doctor to detect cavities, problems in existing dental restorations, gum and bone recession or other abnormal conditions within the mouth, head and neck area.
Our office specializes in cosmetic dentistry. This means that we not only pay attention to the health and function of your teeth, but we also pay close attention to aesthetics. We want you to maintain great oral health but we also want you to have a beautiful smile and the confidence to smile often!
If you are going to have a dental implant installed in your jawbone, wouldn't you want the most accurate method possible? Over the last number of years, 3D fully guided surgery has exploded in the dental community and the results are excellent. Implants were once installed arbitrarily based on location of bone but ignoring cosmetics and functionality.

Other than a root canal, a tooth extraction has to be one of the worst experiences one can have at the dentist. However, Dr. Thatcher managed to make it as painless and comfortable as possible. I hate the idea of losing a tooth, but if I ever needed to have another one extracted, Dr. Thatcher will be my choice.

Dentist visits were always something of a dreaded experience in the past. But going to J&T Dentistry relieves the fear and produces results that are wonderful. The hygienists are all so encouraging and friendly in the performance of routine cleanings and other procedures. The dentists are attentive to your concerns both in terms of the physical issues and the financial impact on patients. They respect your time in being as prompt as can be in taking patients on time for appointments. They are not in my insurance network but I can't imagine moving my business elsewhere for the minor cost difference

My experience w Jacob's & Thatcher has been top notch. Just moved to FL 2 yrs ago and had a dental issue almost immediately. Ended up loosing a tooth & getting an implant. This the process was a tedious one I got to know the Dr and staff pretty well. Kudos to all. I was with my previous dentist for many yrs and am pleased that I have a worthy replacement. Thank you Dr Thatcher.
