While living in Colorado Springs, Evert attended CSATM (Colorado Springs Academy of Therapeutic Massage). A state accredited, 1100 hour program owned and run by Dr. Solie, a chiropractor who believed in training therapists to specialize in not only traditional therapeutic massage modalities but to focus on medical massage, soft tissue manipulation and Neuromuscular Trigger Point Therapy.
He graduated from CSATM in 1998 as not only a licensed massage therapist but also a certified neuromuscular trigger point therapist. In the years following, he had a private practice as well as taught deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy at Sister Rosalind's school of massage in Fargo. In 2003, their family made a decision to move back to Colorado where they spent time involved on another family business venture.

Dr. Schmidt is awesome... I always feel great when I leave there. We started going there for my son with him wearing braces on his feet n he has been adjusting him every 2 weeks. His foot has gotten better. Dr. Schmidt is very good at explaining stuff n really know alot. I bring my whole family there. I would recommend making an appointment with him soon.

Excellent customer service, I was able to call yesterday to get in right away this am. Dr. Schmidt is very helpful and listens to your concerns, working on those areas to improve mobility. He does not schedule un-necessary follow up appointments just t o get a repeat customer, rather asks you to see how you feel, and return if it doesn't improve.

Dr. Schmidt is the best! He has phenomenal to help me with my back, neck and dizziness issues. I always feel 100% once I leave. I went to Legacy for the first time after our chiropractor closed in our home town - GREAT experience! He made sure I was expecting manipulation I was used to and talked through everything before he did it.
I also brought my 2.5 month old infant to the appointment to have her adjusted - he was so good and so gentle with her!! She didn't even cry! He definitely talked me through everything that he was going to do with her to ease any anxieties I had about it. She zonked out after the appointment for hours, so it obviously helped her!

Dr Schmidt is very friendly and willing to share any information you want to know or understand! Doesn’t push for “adjustment schedules” and lets you decide when you need adjustments. Always willing to get you scheduled on short notices if needed. I would recommend Dr Schmidt to anyone who is in need of chiropractic care!
