With the changing landscape of healthcare, we have decided to discontinue our retail pharmacy services and focus efforts on expanding our compounding and nutrition center!

Services
In 1965 the original owner of our Pharmacy, Phil Ciaravella, opened for business. Over the years Phil helped to build a patient base of several original residents of Carrollwood, some of which are still patients of ours! After 21 years in business, Phil sold the Pharmacy in 1986 to his second cousin, Dan Fucarino, who kept the tradition of old-fashioned customer service and dedication to treating patients with dignity and care.
Our mission is "To provide our patients with the best service, with the friendliest staff, and for a fair price." Our dedicated staff is committed to giving you unequaled service. We work very hard to ensure that you have a very pleasurable experience. Dan Fucarino has a degree from Florida State University, where he was a scholarship football player.

For most people buying vitamins is simply a matter of going to the grocery store or pharmacy and picking up a bottle of the least expensive product. We all need to be good stewards of our money. No one is more frugal than I am. In fact, I was guilty of buying the cheapest vitamin I could find because I used to believe that "a vitamin is a vitamin".
At Carrollwood Compounding Center we have been preparing Sterile compounded medications for over 25 years. We have state of the art equipment and a very knowledgeable staff to insure your medication is prepared accurately. We also follow all USP 797 standards to ensure your product is sterile. Our products are tested to insure you receive a safe effective medication.

My liquid Rx was shipped to my home but arrived having leaked about 1/4 of the bottle's contents. In trying to call pharmacy, found it very difficult to get them on the phone; finally gave up after several attempts over two days and called in as doctor's office, which worked the first time but not the second. Apparently, even doctors have trouble making contact.
Also, very pricey in my opinion.

Don’t waste your time with this compounding the pharmacy. They charge almost $100 more than any other compounding pharmacy in the Tampa Bay area. When I tried to address the cost or the fact that I was told by another compounding pharmacy (that will no longer be doing compounds), that they would honor their pricing, they become argumentative. I am happy to take my business elsewhere. The first impression is the most lasting. 🤷🏿♂️

I recently had to get a specialty compounded medication from Carrollwood’s Compounding Pharmacy and my experience has been outstanding. I had many questions and Andrew politely and patiently answered all of them for me. He has been wonderful! Customer service has been great. I hardly had any wait on the phone. The entire procedure to get the medication to me has been as promised and very professional. Thank you!! Great service!!!

Extremely helpful. Very friendly. When a big-name pharmacy kept yanking me around I decided to go back to a smaller, privately owned place. I was not disappointed with Carrollwood Pharmacy. WOW, I am so proud of this establishment! This independent pharmacy has been at a much smaller location in Carrollwood forever. As they moved they grew bigger, stronger, forward thinking, wisely & ahead of the times.
Formulations made using your own blood as a healing & precise personal use for only you and certain conditions is cutting edge & fantastic.
This wonderful establishment has the capability to perfect this task, what a wonderful medical change, like using your brain stem cells.

I was referred to this Pharmacy by my doctor. I was very impressed by their inventory of vitamins and nutrients. The pharmacist was very friendly and extremely thorough in his explanation of my medicine. He was also very knowledgeable with homeopathic options for whatever your issues..I was happy to finally find a Pharmacist that knows Western Medicine is not always the best option. I would recommend ditching the big box pharmacies and checking this place out.

I have found that the prices are quite reasonable and typically beat the prices of the big box competitors; the staff is professional and efficient and goes above and beyond on a regular basis. Horrible customer service!!! All they want is your $, that's the only time they are nice. Im all about helping mom & pop shops but this place is a joke! If you have questions or they have to call your doctor (which is their job) that's when the REAL rudeness comes out. They do not like to help their customers, especially if it requires extra work or for them to answer questions. I've seen customers get upset before and never understood why till it happened to me.
