I was born and raised in Spokane, Washington and moved to Tucson in 2014. I obtained my certification as a Dental Assistant in 2000. I have had the privilege of serving in the Army for 8 years and through the military and dentistry I have been fortunate to meet others and volunteer for various programs in my career.
Sabino Dental provides a wide variety of dental services and procedures to address all of our patients' dental health needs. By combining quality patient care with up-to-date technology, we are able to treat patients of all ages in a comfortable and relaxing setting. Our dentist and highly trained staff are trained to not only treat patients but to identify what caused the health concern in the first place.
In her senior year of Dental School Dr. Arias was elected to become a member of the National Honor Society Omicron Kappa Upsilon Mu Mu Chapter. American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and American Society of Dentistry for Children Predoctoral Student Award. After receiving her doctorate, Dr. Arias decided to serve our country and commissioned into the United States Air Force with the rank of Captain.
His background and experience in general dentistry is a welcomed asset in our office. Dr. Schop brings with him 25 years of experience as a dentist, the majority of it here in Tucson. His background in dentistry started when he was a dental lab technician with the United States Army. He soon discovered that he loved dentistry and then pursued his career as a dentist.

I'm a snowbird, only in Tucson in the winter, so when I broke a tooth and couldn't see my regular dentist back home I was worried about where I might end up. I was fortunate to get a next day appointment with Dr. Arias, who fixed my tooth conservatively, no suggestion of anything more radical or expensive. She is a very nice, as are her assistants and other staff, and she works very skillfully. I would definitely use her as my regular dentist if I lived in Tucson full time.

By far the most traumatic dental experience, I have had. Arias is beyond aggressive, rough, and condescending. She has zero bedside manner and truly does not care if you are in pain or uncomfortable. After my procedure, an assistant whispered to me "I am so sorry." By the huge turnover of assistants and hygienists it is clear they are aware of Arias and her problems. When I switched dentists, I found that Arias prices are double others. My new dentist also commented that the work I had done was "rather shabby." This was the worst dental experience ever!!!!! I would give this place zero stars. My daughter was in the office for one and a half hours and no cleaning was done. They said they were waiting for x -rays from her previous dentist. I made her the appointment 4 months prior so why did they not follow up sooner??? Most of the visit consisted of scanning her teeth and trying to upsell expensive treatments. And when the doctor finally examined her she was extremely aggressive and rough. I would not recommend!!

My husband and I recently relocated to Tucson and needed to find a new dentist. Dr Arias was referred to us by one of her patients. From the minute I walked into the door until I left the office I was very impressed with the friendly staff. I had X-rays, cleaning and thorough exam by Dr. Lenny Arias. She explained any potential problems and told me my options. Never felt pressed to do any procedure that I did not feel necessary at this time. I feel that my cleaning and exam the most thorough I have ever had. I also think their fees are very fair. A very pleasant experience.

Beware of the Sabino Dental "Discount Plan". This is a $300 annual, non-refundable contract (not insurance). That means if you decide to leave their practice before your annual contract has expired, there will be no refund. I renewed my annual contract on August 2, 2021. I then decided to change to another dental practice, and was told on August 25, 2021 that my unused 11 months of the contract would not be refunded. Sabino Dental website does not mention this plan(contract) nor does it provide any procedure/fee schedules to compare actual costs versus standard costs. Since I originally

My experience was excellent. My hygienist Allona was very caring and professional during my appointment. She has a lovely personal touch and made me very comfortable during my cleaning. Dr Arias exhibited her knowledge and skill while making me feel at ease during my examination. I look forward to my future visits with an excellent staff.

Best office ever!! The last few offices that I went to essentially gave up with the constant upkeep required, due to my genetically poor teeth. They ended up in a horrible state; with constant pain and what I believed to be irreparable damage. That changed at Sabino Dental; they immediately took me in (as an emergency patient no less), and Dr. Arias performed numerous procedures which previous dentists could not. She is pretty aggressive; wasn't sensitive to me as a client when I went in for a filling. Previous dentists, before I moved to this city, have always told me "going to give you a shot now in your gums to numb you.."
Especially stated when they were going to start drilling! (though it's been years since I've had a cavity. Perhaps this is the new way of doing things?!)

We have been using Dr. Arias and Sabino Dental for many years and until recently, our service and their work has been very good. Unfortunately, after I cracked a tooth late last year and was referred to AZOMS for the extraction and implant, follow up and pricing for the abutment and crown from Sabino Dental was extremely high and I had no choice but walk out of the consultation and see a new dentist (one very highly rated!) to complete the work. This has been the worst dentist experience EVER for me. I was unlucky to need dental work during Covid time while stuck in Tucson and even more unlucky to enter this office. When I did, I didn't know if I was entering a plastic surgeon's office or a nightclub; later on I got the feeling I was in a used car dealership based on the treatment I was given. I have been a patient of Sabino Dental for 10+ years and highly recommend this dental practice. Dr Arias is a gentle dentist and continually works with leading medicine and technology, in order to provide the best dental care and quality to patients. Thought I would try this place because it was closer to my home and work. I went in and the place felt more like place you get Botox injections or a face lift, cold, dark and gray. I introduced my self, said why I was there and instantly you could see the dollars signs flash on the two ladies face. They had no concern for what they could do to help me or even introduce me to the Dr. They couldn't even really tell me anything but we can set you up as a new patient. They asked if I had insurance and then you could see the drool starting, but as soon as I mentioned how do they accept payments

Do not go here they falsely got me in there under the impression they we're going to take my Care Credit and then when I got there they did the exam and everything and then told me how much it was going to be it didn't tell me how much it was going to be before that or explain any better. Are asked me what insurance I had once I got there for credit so I wound up paying $260 for x-rays that I did not need. I don't think they're very credible people.

Overall I am very satisfied with Sabino Dental. First thing that stood out was excellent customer service. The whole staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Dr. Arias is very nice, she really seems to have empathy for her patients, and wants what is best for us. Looking forward to continuing my care with Sabino Dental.

I had an emergency appointment set for 11 am when I called at 8 am. A crown had fallen out and I haven't had a solid dentist in Tucson, really ever. I have been to two dentists and two endodontists in Durham to the tune of $7000.00 with no resolution of the pain which I was experiencing in my lower jaw/teeth. As previous reviews have mentioned, Dr. Arias is amazing! I have been to many different dentists across the country and she is the best so far. Clean, modern office and equipment, but still no pressure to do unnecessary procedures, which I've felt before! She is also the first dentist to actually care about and examine my TMJ to discover what's causing me problems...and then told me to not open my mouth so wide as to cause soreness when she moved on to examine my teeth! I no longer have dental anxiety, because there is nothing to fear here. I just wish I could take Dr. Arias with me when

Through a lifetime of world travel I have had both the pleasure and displeasure of having dental work by a wide variety of service providers. When I relocated to Tucson permanently I scoured through online reviews, friend recommendations, and random Google searches.
I'm pleased to say that after more than a six month quest, I decided on Dr. Lenny Arias at Sabino Dental. The office is located in the lower foothills, which is a perfect medium for those of us who live in Tucson proper. The office is stunning, the equipment state-of-the-art, and the staff is truly fabulous.

I had lived my entire life with a big gap between my teeth. I thought it was just one of those things I would have to deal with for the rest of my life...until I went to Sabino Dental and met Dr. Arias! Dr. Arias showed me how I could close the gap between my teeth in less than a year with invisalign invisible braces. I can't begin to tell you what a life-changing feeling it is to look in the mirror and see yourself in a way you never have before. All I can say is, Thank you Dr. Arias! I no longer have to feel self conscious now when I smile. I wish I had had this fixed years and years ago
