Our child centered Montessori school for ages 14 months - 7 years is a quaint, inviting learning environment that is located on an acre grassy lot. Our commercially licensed school has a home feel that children feel comfortable in. Greenhouse Montessori will provide students with the tools necessary to be critical thinkers, globally completive, and will be taught and treated as individuals.
We value the outside environment as much as the inside and feel that anything you can learn inside you can learn outside, but not vice versa. Children need to be outdoors in the formative years of 0-6 and we allow for experiences to cultivate the mind, body, and personality. To begin the process of admission, it is mandatory that you attend the open house or an informational night or schedule a tour at the school.

Services
Greenhouse Montessori provides a live animal enrichment program. Once a month a local farm brings animals for us to learn about, care for, and interact with. This program is an incredible way for kids to get up close and personal with animals such as horses, llamas, alpacas, sheep, rabbits, and other domesticated farm animals in a small setting.
You know you are doing what you are supposed to when you enjoy it, think about it often, can separate it from other parts of your life, and can't imagine doing anything else. Greenhouse Montessori was created from a passion for providing an environment for children to learn and have fun.
The "greenhouse" was originally a place for children to have themed birthday parties where they could play, interact, and learn, without even realizing that fun and learning could be the same thing. As a former elementary teacher, I incorporated learning, fun, and respect, in my classroom at every opportunity.

Toddlers interact and explore in the young skills room where play is encouraged, development of fine motor skills are constant through the senses and learning materials, and the seeds of a Montessori education is planted. Designed for ages 1 and 2, here is where practical life, sensorial, and the foundation for math and language are established.

I love the school for so many reasons. Let's just start with their very enriched outdoor environment. The farm animals, the gardens, what a wonderful experience for my kids. My kids teachers were very passionate about giving all the children a very enriched learning environment. Jennifer is one of the most passionate teachers I have ever met. I love the school.

After having my first child in traditional preschool and my second in a Montessori school, my only regret is not getting my first into a Montessori school. To put it very simply, the difference in the two is learning about a topic with a worksheet done as a group when a child is told to do so vs having an environment where when curiosity strikes, tools are available to do a real life experiment to witness it and understand it. The environment at this school is one of the best I've seen at a Montessori school and the staff are what teachers everywhere should strive to be. My daughter has attended
