Services
Mr. Larose comes from a family of entrepreneurs. Besides his law degree, he has a Master's degree in business administration with an emphasis in Finance. Jonathan believed every great family law attorney needs to be grounded in core financial fundamentals. This is vital because much of what a family law attorney does touches on financial issues - support, community property, valuations, income and cash flow.
Fees: We have hourly rates for all our attorneys, paralegals, case administrators and legal secretaries. When a person works on your matter, they charge in increments of an hour. Clients receive regular invoices detailing the specific work done and the time it took to do it. Most general office costs are included in the hourly rates.
Jonathan has extensive experience in all areas of family law. He creates pre-marriage, co-habitation, and post-marriage agreements.

He works on all issues related to paternity, divorce, annulment, and legal separation actions - including child and spousal support, community property, custody, breach of marital fiduciary duties, child relocations, asset-tracing, international accounts and property, inter-state conflicts and jurisdiction, attorney fee reimbursement, domestic violence and marital harassment.Jonathan is both a litigator and a mediator.
Kristine is our Senior Litigation Attorney. She has strong courtroom skills and is a firm negotiator. She has practiced family law in at least seven Bay Area counties. She is adept at issues involving child support, custody and visitation, spousal support, asset tracing, and domestic violence restraining orders.
Ms. Benage is an associate attorney, who assists clients with all of their family law needs, including divorce, parentage actions, property division, child custody, child support, spousal support, and domestic violence restraining orders.

Ms. Benage graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and a minor in Business Administration before getting her law degree from Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon. While working as a student-attorney at her law school's Legal Clinic, Ms. Benage helped numerous small business owners and non-profit organizations with their legal needs.

I worked with the Law offices of Jonathan D. Larose since 2013 in my long and messy divorce case. Mr. Larose represented me in the trial and Mrs. Griffith represented me in numerous hearings throughout the case, along with Mrs. Sidhu and Mrs. Benage who have helped in a few key stages. The entire legal team rallied all of their expertise and their resources when it mattered -- it takes a huge team effort to get justice prevail.
Jonathan's trial preparation was thorough: all important points covered, no detail is overlooked, no angle is missed. He used good legal judgement and winning arguments

Rude! And especially as a woman I would NEVER consider this firm for any of his “services”. Not sure why he asked my age within mid conversation ? He also called me Ma’am several times when he had all my contact information in front of him. Very condescending! He even threw out a “thank you for calling” at the end of the conversation… patronizing! He’s Horrible with an aggressive tone! Overpriced! 8k for a fairly easy divorce! Run from this law firm! I don’t think he cares about anyone but himself & money.

I had a very bad experience with this attorney. He was super rude and didn’t want to answer my questions about my case in our consultation. He said if I had 8 thousand dollars, we could file for the divorce and that is it. No consultation (he asked me questions but was not answering mines). He thought I wouldn’t be able to pay for his expensive services and hung up the phone. Not professional our qualified. I won’t recommend him to anyone.

Integrity, excellence.
I was referred to Johnathan Larose through a friend. Upon meeting Johnathan, he demonstrated empathy and compassion. Going through a divorce is never easy, and I felt assured and confident that my case would be handled fairly and with integrity.
Jonathan’s preparation, attention to detail, and knowledge, allowed me to feel at ease and confident in the legal process. Johnathan Larose and his paralegal team provided exceptional service. They were considerate of time and of the costs associated with divorce proceedings. I was pleased with the outcome of my case. I highly

I retained the Law Offices of Jonathan D. LaRose back in November of 2015. What might have initially appeared as a “quick divorce”—no property, one child, etc.—has since then turned into a lengthy, long-drawn dissolution and custody charade as a result of my daughter’s father.
The LaRose team (including Mrs. Griffith and supporting paralegals) have blazed trails in areas of law that might be considered less-travelled (ie. “Sovereign citizenship,” vexatious litigants, restricting a person’s access to a courthouse and more).
This committed team has worked tirelessly to gain momentum

Jonathan and his team are representing me for last 10+ years. It was my first-time hiring lawyer and learning legal system. First time in court I was nervous but when Judge said you have good counsel and are in good hands, I was happy and confident with my legal team.
Kris and Jonathan are very professional and guided me through tough legal process. My X went to court multiple times with differ lawyers. I won every time because of good legal representation. Now I have 100% custody of my kid and no headache.

I met Mr. LaRose first time back in 2012. He sounded very confident, knowledgable, and straight to the point. To this day, I'm glad to have retained LaRose law and Mr. LaRose as my main counsel. When it comes to custody and visitation, I want Mr. LaRose on my side. It is a matter of trust!
In my case, my ex had filed a 498a case in India and requested the court in the US to send the minor child to India with her permanently. It was an up hill battle to make the judge understand what the case in India meant, the consequences / repercussions in approving her request, my relationship and involvement

Hiring Jonathan D. Larose and his team was the best move I made when selecting a divorce attorney. It was nice to have one firm I could trust that would stay with me through to the end; through what was a difficult, and emotionally draining divorce. I watched my now ex-husband go through multiple attorneys on his side, and in the end he had to represent himself. It was nice having the feeling that the best attorney in the room was on my side of the courtroom fighting for me and my rights. My divorce was far from amicable, I had an ex who literally fell into what I see as mid-life crisis and throughout

HAPPY SINGLE FATHER,
I was recommended to the Law Offices of Jonathan D. Larose by a friend. I am a single father and at the time I hired Mr. Larose, I was not being allowed to spend time with my then 9 month old daughter.
I felt that the court system was biased towards me and I needed someone in my corner who could provide me with the assistance I needed to establish a relationship with my daughter.
While having Mr. Larose as my attorney, he was able to successfully have my daughter relocated back to the Bay Area (after her mother moved to Southern California without notice), to establish an
