Recently did a FSBO closing with Justin…our banker reached out multiple times to get everything ready for a closing date…Justin was not responsive at all to our bankers emails. When I took matters into my own hands, the receptionist was downright rude and not helpful. Our closing was delayed by 24 days due to Justin’s lack of attention to detail regarding the abstract. It was just sitting there because he didn’t give them a date for completion! If it would have been any longer, we would have had to pay significant fees to rework our loan. Also, the seller is asking for 24 days of rent

Terrible service. We had to do business with this firm for a home closing because that's who the bank chose? Perhaps they are the discount law firm in town?
So they dont allow anyone in their offices due to the pandemic. So ok i guess? But they had no indoor option for us at all with a table? So we had to sign over a hundred documents on the console of our car in the parking lot! Texting the attorney to come down when we were done.
For this excellent service, we paid $990.
Just 4 weeks prior we closed a loan with another bank in a conference room with masks.

My mortgage servicing company paid real estate taxes from my escrow account and sent notice of same to Wasker. The escrow payment was not accounted for during closing and subtracted from my seller proceeds to pay the real estate tax making this a double payment to Dallas County. This oversight left my escrow account short and when notified an additional interest charge was due.
"Specialized Loan Servicing called yesterday stating they have not cashed the check to pay off their mortgage as it was short $908.07. The representative stated the difference was a $1,195.00 tax disbursement leaving $425

My credit union had arranged a refinance document signing with this law firm. I was informed that social distancing and masks were required for the signing. And to wait in my car. I was even instructed on where to park. When I arrived I was asked to come in the building. And had to restate that a car signing had been scheduled. The person that came to the car was not wearing a mask or gloves. Given the option I would not use this law firm in the future as they do not value my safety or that of their employees.
I saw a previous poor review of this law firm complaining about the car signing option
