I went to Mr. Short because of all the good reviews and out of all the lawyers I spoke to he was by far the worst and rudest one. He continued to insult me through the consultation which I paid him for. Everything he consulted me on I already knew and I feel as though because of my age I was not taken seriously. He spoke to me like a child and like I was incompetent. I felt I was not given the same treatment as other clients. I would not recommend him based on my consult.

He left out so many facts on abuse and neglect it's as if he was conspiring with the GAL and abusive fathers lawyer in my custody hearing. At least the mediator had the father trying to give me custody, but abusers DON'T do that... 70% of abusers that fight for custody will win because of these types of lawyers/GALS/judges turning a blind eye in favor of a father who seems to actually be caring for his children, but the majority of men that do fight for custody are abusers. I try to save myself and my children and idiots like this man do nothing to help, all they do is take your money
