I'm so glad you are here. I'm Stephanie, and I specialize in capturing authentic moments of families. I believe that each family is perfect just how they are, and that love is the most generous gift life can give. I am so lucky to call the Mad River Valley of Vermont my home, and I love to photograph locals and visitors alike in some of the most amazing locations Vermont has to offer.

Have a look around at my work, then send me a message to chat more about your upcoming session. I can't wait to hear from you! All of my sessions offer a laid-back experience where you can feel free to be yourselves. While I guide you every step of the way, there is also plenty of time to explore, while I look for the most beautiful pockets of light that will make your images magical.

Congratulations on your upcoming Proposal or Elopement! This is such an exciting time in your lives, and I am so happy for you both! While I primarily photograph families, it all starts with the love between two people, and that love grows more and more through the generations. I would be honored to capture your love story, for your children and your grandchildren to enjoy a piece of their family history.
Your family session will be laid-back, relaxed, and yes, even fun! Even the dads end up having a great time and are surprised at how easy it is to create beautiful, authentic images of your family. Although my work looks unposed, I guide and pose you every step of the way. You are never left wondering what you should do!
Emotive Lifestyle Photography is a style of photography that aims to capture authentic images that send a powerful emotional message. It is not a collection of images with everyone posed looking at the camera. The aim of my sessions is to capture your family and your relationships as they are right now.

We worked with Stephanie for our maternity session. She picked the most beautiful location in the Valley. She took her time with us and made us feel comfortable. The photos turned out amazing and we love them so much. It was a perfect celebration gift for the two of us. Also loved that our dog was in the photos too.

Stephanie captured memories that my family will treasure for a lifetime! As a fellow photographer, I was especially pleased with the outcome of this photoshoot.
The client experience with Lincoln Gap Photography is streamlined and user friendly. Stephanie gave us great advice for styling and found a fabulous location for the shoot. Her communication was prompt and personal.
During the shoot she was calm and engaging with our daughter. Her style gave us space to be ourselves, but she also gave us good direction when needed.
I am so happy we took the time from our busy lives to hire Lincoln Gap

Stephanie was so great to work with. She made our picture taking experience feel so natural and casual. She brought us to a beautiful spot and wasn’t afraid to get experimental with us in the river. She provided us with great suggestions to prepare for the photo shoot and the pictures turned out so beautiful. I highly recommend using her!!!

We had a great experience having our first family photo shoot with Stephanie of Lincoln Gap Photography, complete with 6 and 4-year-old shenanigans. I was nervous going in since you just never know what you're going to get with small kids, but Stephanie made it easy. We played at the river for an hour, and came away with some beautiful images of the autumn scenery and of our family! Stephanie offers support through the entire process, from picking outfits to choosing location and activity during the shoot. She puts you at ease and is amazing at capturing beautiful organic moments as they happen

We loved our experience with Lincoln Gap Photography! We had originally hired Stephanie to take pictures for our small wedding ceremony, but ended up having to cancel the get-together due to the pandemic. She worked with us through months of uncertainty and was incredibly flexible. We ended up deciding to just dress up and take some special wedding pictures -- just the two of us and Stephanie. We are SO happy we decided to take these pictures. The pictures are natural looking, beautiful, and capture our personalities and love perfectly. We highly, highly recommend.

I cannot recommend Stephanie highly enough! She was truly a blessing to work with. Our family visited Sugarbush, VT for a week long ski trip this past winter. Since my kids' school portraits were atrocious this year, my husband had the bright idea to get family portraits done on our vacation! I searched the area, and was so lucky to find Stephanie. She took the time to find the perfect outdoor locations for our Winter Warmer session, and made the photo shoot relaxing andfun. She captured the essence of our family's love and connection, and took amazing single "school portraits" of the kids. She

We hired Stephanie to take our family photos over the summer, she was great to work with! She gave us some prompts to start with but was really focused on capturing our natural interactions as a family. She also helped with our outfits and gave some advice on what she recommends. I would definitely recommend Lincoln Gap Photography if you're looking for some candid style photos of your family.

Stephanie has been an absolute pleasure to with with. Her patience and positive attitude made the entire process from booking the initial appointment through printing images seamless and fun. Thanks to her, we have some priceless images of our young boys and we would be excited to work with her in the future to capture them as they grow.

Stephanie recently photographed our family. I had never done anything like this, but decided to try it. Kids grow up so fast and I wanted to capture my daughters infancy. She was professional, easy, and fun to work with. We had to reschedule quite a few times due to sickness and Stephanie was so understanding. From our first contact she promptly wrote back to my emails and made every step easy, offering helpful tips for where to shoot and what kind of clothes to wear etc. Its clear she really cares about her clients and wants to get to know them. She has a real gift for making her subjects feels

Stunning photos! Stephanie is a true artist. She has an unbelievable skill for working with light and color while allowing her clients spontaneity to creatively unfold. From a holiday shoot last fall with our 3-year-old, to pregnancy and newborn sessions this spring, Lincoln Gap Photography has helped us capture hundreds of precious moments. Stephanie is also a mother, which makes her a little extra magic in working with families. She deeply respects the sacredness (and messiness) of the newborn time. She’s gentle and tender with babies and new moms. She eliminates all the could be stress of

Stephanie is perfect for proposals and engagement photos! My fiance worked with Stephanie to plan his proposal where Stephanie captured the moment without my even knowing she was there! She actually hiked up a mountain to be at our proposal spot for us... she was such a pleasure to work with, she was incognito so I had no idea she was taking pictures so we got to really enjoy our moment. And the finished photos are absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend Stephanie!

At our photo session I was impressed by Stephanie's ability to get young children (4 and 6) engaged in the photography. During out session she initiated games like red light, green light to keep them together. When she wanted us to head to the woods she brought up the "Nome Forest" another fun way to keep children interested during a photo shoot! Our photos turned out great! She did a wonderful job capturing the moment through her photography.
