Our special reading program helps your child to develop the reading and comprehension skills they need to SUCCEED - as early as four years old.
After toddlers become familiar with the sounds and letters of the alphabet, we slowly-but-surely integrate them into our special reading program. Here, they will learn to combine two to three vowel and consonant sounds at a time to create words. This unique approach to language learning helps children to gain an enhanced vocabulary by the age of three.

Some of these families have been with us for 4 years and counting. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to watch and aid your children in learning and growing. I highly recommend Little Explorer Montessori to anyone who is looking for a loving and caring daycare/pre-school.
We had my daughter at Little Explorer Daycare for almost a year. The only reason she no longer attends is that we moved out of the area. The teachers at Little Explorer really care about the kids. You can tell that these are loving and compassionate people that truly enjoy teaching children. My daughter has been going here for about a month now. Before I tell you about what I think I just wanted to give a back ground on my daughter.
My daughter is 2.5 years old. For the past year we mostly used nanny's or more recently a family friend for watching our kids. Back in September we put in cameras in our home and discovered our family friend was abusing our daughter. Which had explained her erratic behavior and pica (eating inanimate objects). We had been trying to figure it out for a few months when we decided to put in cameras.

3 of my daughters go here and they absolutely love it! all of the wonderful teachers are so kind, warming, loving and is aware of the impact they leave with the kids. my 6yr old and 4yr old daughters reading levels are higher, and my 1yr olds communication skills are advanced. The teachers really show interest in positive development of my daughters and for full time working parents, to know your child is in good hands mentally, physically and emotionally while you are away is a huge relief! thank you everyone at the Nursery and Montessori!

My son went to Little Explorer for almost 2 years. We really enjoyed the style of teaching and support they offered. All the teachers were extremely interactive, attentive and genuinely concerned with the education of my son. I loved that they also taught a dance class and exposed him to another language. Highly recommend Little Explorer in Beaverton and Ms. Nilu is fantastic!

My son has been at Little Explorer Montessori since it opened and he is now ready for public school. I anticipate he will enter public school a grade ahead of his age due to his high achievements in reading, writing, and arithmetic all thanks to Little Explorer! I am also pleased that Little Explorer has a developed a curriculum beyond the basics and teaches the children about geography, multi-cultural topics, historical people/events all while allowing the children to have fun! It is truly a holistic approach to early childhood development! I literally do not know how the team is able to accomplish
