Carpet Source

I don't write many reviews, but the before sale and after sale service at Carpet Source was outstanding. My wife and I recently moved into a condo in Scottsdale and the floors were in terrible shape. Based on reviews and location I went to Carpet Source to look for carpeting for my two bedrooms. Mike did an outstanding job of explaining all the different carpeting options, the differences in material, quality and cost. Mike gave me the samples to take home and see how they looked in my rooms and we setup an appointment for him to come out and measure the next day.

Seemed to have a good selection, but the service was so poor that I would never do business with this company. Very inflexible and unwilling to provide prices for cost comparisons. Very non transparent. Save your time and use one of the many other carpet retailers that actually care about customer needs.

I can not say enough about how wonderful Mike was to deal with. I stopped by the store, wanting to support a small local business during these crazy times and was very impressed with the service. This is a bit belated, but about a month ago we had Carpet Source install carpet in the new home we just bought. Mark consulted with me on our needs (antsy pet, future kids, stairs...) over email then made time around his store schedule to come meet me at our home on the other side of town for an in-person consultation. He was very knowledgeable and courteous and brought several samples for us to pick from while he took measurements. We found one that we actually saw and liked from another company, but Mark gave us a much better quote for everything.

Our 15 year old carpet and padding needed replacement so we spent much time searching for new carpeting. Carpet Source is seriously fantastic. I cannot say enough about how great it was to work with Mike and how happy I was with the installation. I did a bit of research online for what to look for in quality carpets and went to this store and asked some questions about some of the carpet specs. Mike was able to answer them all with in-depth knowledge and even let me see his spreadsheet on twist numbers, face weight/density, and price. It was honestly perfect, exactly what I wanted to see and we were able to choose a carpet that gave us good quality for the price. The installation went very smoothly

Mark was extremely helpful and great to work with! He won't just push any product... he will break down his suggestions and give you his opinion on what type of carpet would be suitable for your situation.

Since I couldnt physically be present to have my carpet replaced, Mark made multiple trips out to my property to meet with the person assisting me in this project... once to measure and another to finalize the color.

Replaced 430 sq ft of laminate with carpet in living room and dining room. Mark, co-owner was wonderful in making recommendations to us based on our needs. He listened and questioned. He was more than helpful and patient in showing us nearly the whole store. We found exactly what we wanted. Eddie was our installer and was polite, professional and on-time. He called out some shoddy work from the previous installer and corrected the issues at no extra cost. The guys at Carpet Source really treated me right! They did a wonderful job helping me to choose the right carpet for my house. They removed the old flooring, and everything was installed perfectly, and ahead of schedule!
When cracks were found in the foundation of one of the rooms they were able to fill it in and grind the floor where it was uneven. They worked around all of my needs regarding getting a new closet door installed at the same time as the carpets, and in the end everything looks as though it were meant to be there. Highly recomended!!

The absolute best place to buy flooring. Mike and Mark are the most experienced knowledgeable and patient guys in the business. Better prices and selection than the big box stores along with A+ personal service.

After visiting most of the carpet stores in Scottsdale, we were so pleased to find Carpet Source. It was readily apparent that Mike was a seasoned professional, with decades of experience, whose goal was to help us find the right carpet to meet our needs. Mike took the time to truly educate us on the types of carpets, and how they would wear.
