We have filed a lien with the city of Detroit on a project that we have still not been paid on. This company owes us over $16,000 and has completely ignored our invoices over the past three months.

This company is a scam and if you ask for your money they would go ahead and avoid you and not call you back

I am a licensed, insured, small Painting Company owner. I did work for Barbat Holdings at the Jeffersonian building. The go-between for myself and barbat holdings, a Mr. Howard Klaassen, has failed to get me paid for my work there in April despite numerous reminders and invoices sent. I have tried to go around Howard to get in direct contact with barbat Holdings but with no success. Seems they are quite content to allow contractors to come in and work for free while us small contractors have to eat the cost.
